• This appliance is for indoor use only.
• Do not immerse the main body of the feeder in water. Only removable parts are washable.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets to prevent tampering or injury.
• Use only dry pet food with kibble sizes between 2mm and 15mm. Larger kibble may cause jams.
• Ensure the power cord is securely connected and placed where pets cannot chew on it.

The Yuposl Automatic Pet Feeder is designed to provide timed and portion-controlled meals for your cats and small to medium-sized dogs. It features a 3-liter capacity, a multi-layer sealing system to keep food fresh, and a jam-prevention mechanism for reliable operation.

2.2 Capacity and Freshness

The 3-liter capacity food bucket can hold approximately 10 days' worth of food for a cat or 21 days for a small dog, depending on their daily intake. The multi-layer sealed lid with a desiccant compartment helps maintain food freshness and prevents moisture and pests from entering.

2.3 Design Features

3. Setup

3.1 Assembly

1. Unpack all components and ensure all parts listed in Section 2.1 are present.
2. Place the bowl holder onto the main feeder unit.
3. Insert the stainless steel bowl into the bowl holder.
4. Place the food tray and feeding rotary tray into the food storage bucket.
5. Fill the food storage bucket with dry pet food (kibble size 2-15mm).
6. Close the lid securely, ensuring the desiccant compartment is properly sealed.

3.2 Power Supply

The feeder supports two power options:

• AC Power: Connect the provided Type-C power adapter to the feeder and plug it into a wall outlet. The 1.5-meter chew-resistant cable helps prevent damage from pets.
• Battery Backup: For power outage protection, insert three D-size alkaline batteries (not included) into the battery compartment at the bottom of the unit. Fully charged batteries can provide power for up to 180 days.

It is recommended to use both AC power and battery backup for uninterrupted feeding.

3.3 Food Compatibility

This feeder is compatible with dry pet food (kibble) ranging from 2mm to 15mm in size. It can dispense various shapes of dry food, including standard kibble, mixed food, and freeze-dried food pieces within the specified size range.

Important: Do not use wet food, semi-moist food, or kibble larger than 15mm, as this may cause blockages or damage the feeder.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Panel Overview

The feeder features a user-friendly control panel with a digital display and buttons for setting the time, meal schedules, and portion sizes. Ensure the screen is unlocked before making settings adjustments.

4.2 Setting the Feeding Schedule

The feeder allows you to program up to 6 meals per day, with 1 to 16 portions per meal. Each portion is approximately 8 grams.

1. Unlock the Screen: Press and hold the unlock button (usually a lock icon) until the screen unlocks.
2. Set Current Time: Use the time setting buttons to adjust the current time.
3. Program Meal Times: Select a meal number (1-6) and set the desired feeding time for each meal.
4. Set Portion Sizes: For each programmed meal, adjust the number of portions (1-16) to be dispensed.
5. Save Settings: Confirm your settings. The feeder will automatically dispense food at the programmed times daily.

4.3 Manual Feeding

To dispense food manually outside of the programmed schedule, press the manual feed button (often depicted as a paw print or food icon) on the control panel. This will dispense one portion of food immediately.

4.4 Jam Prevention

The feeder is equipped with an automatic reverse and rotation mechanism to prevent food jams. If a jam occurs, the mechanism will activate to clear the blockage, ensuring consistent food delivery.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning Instructions

Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and extends the life of your feeder. All food-contact parts are made from food-grade materials.

1. Disassembly: The feeding rotary tray, lid, food tray, stainless steel bowl, and bowl holder can be completely removed for cleaning.
2. Washing: Wash these removable parts with water and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembly.
3. Main Body: The main body of the feeder is not waterproof. Do not rinse it with water. If it gets dirty, wipe it with a damp cloth and then dry it with a clean, dry cloth.
4. Desiccant: Replace the desiccant pack in the lid periodically (e.g., every 1-2 months) to maintain food freshness.
