5. Operating Instructions

1. Remove any mattress, bedding, or heavy items from the top of the slatted base.
2. Grasp the handle or edge of the slatted base firmly.
3. Lift the slatted base upwards. The hydraulic mechanism will assist in lifting and holding the base in an open position.
4. Place items into or remove items from the storage compartment.
5. To close, firmly pull the slatted base downwards until it locks securely into the closed position. Ensure hands and fingers are clear of pinch points.
