3. Setup

3.2 Attaching the Magnetic Ring

The ultra-thin magnetic ring helps secure the PLAUD Note firmly to your smartphone, especially useful for recording calls or in-person conversations with your phone nearby.

1. Clean the back surface of your smartphone or phone case where you intend to attach the magnetic ring.
2. Peel off the adhesive backing from the magnetic ring.
3. Carefully align and press the magnetic ring onto the desired location on your phone or case. Ensure it is centered if attaching to a non-magnetic phone for optimal stability.
4. Allow the adhesive to set for a few minutes before attaching the PLAUD Note.
