1. Important Safety Information

Read all instructions carefully before assembly and use of the stroller. Failure to follow these instructions could result in serious injury or death to your child. Keep this manual for future reference.

• WARNING: Never leave your child unattended in the stroller.
• WARNING: Always use the restraint system. Ensure the child is securely fastened with the 5-point harness.
• WARNING: Always use the crotch strap in combination with the waist belt.
• WARNING: Ensure all locking devices are engaged before use.
• WARNING: Do not allow children to play with this product.
• WARNING: Check that the stroller body or seat unit attachment devices are correctly engaged before use.
• WARNING: This stroller is not suitable for running or skating.
• The maximum weight capacity for this stroller is 40 pounds (18.1 kg).
• The storage basket has a maximum weight capacity of 6.6 pounds (3 kg).
• This stroller is designed for children from birth up to 36 months.
• Do not overload the stroller or attach items that could affect its stability.

2. Product Overview

The MAMA & BABY Packa Compact Travel Stroller (Model T403) is designed for convenience and comfort, featuring a lightweight frame and one-hand auto-folding mechanism. It is suitable for newborns and toddlers.

3. Assembly and Setup

3.1 Unfolding the Stroller

1. Place the folded stroller on a flat surface.
2. Release the folding latch (if present).
3. Lift the handlebar upwards until the stroller frame locks into its open position. You should hear a click.
4. Ensure all parts are securely locked before placing a child in the stroller.

3.2 Attaching the Armrest

• Align the armrest with the designated slots on the stroller frame.
• Push firmly until it clicks into place.
• To remove, press the release buttons on both sides of the armrest and pull it upwards.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Folding the Stroller

1. Ensure the child is removed from the stroller.
2. Engage the brake.
3. Ensure the front wheels are kept facing forward for optimal folding.
4. Locate the one-hand folding mechanism (usually a button or lever on the handlebar).
5. Activate the mechanism and guide the stroller downwards until it collapses into its compact folded state.

4.2 Adjusting the Seat Recline

1. The seat recline is adjusted using a drawstring mechanism located at the back of the seat.
2. To recline, squeeze the adjuster and slide it down the strap to the desired angle (between 100° and 165°).
3. To bring the seat upright, pull the strap upwards while holding the adjuster.
4. The footrest can also be adjusted to two positions for child comfort.

4.3 Using the Safety Harness

1. Place your child in the seat.
2. Bring the shoulder straps over your child's shoulders and the waist straps around their hips.
3. Insert the buckle tongues into the central buckle until they click securely.
4. Adjust the straps to ensure a snug fit, leaving enough room for one finger between the strap and your child.
5. To release, press the central button on the buckle.

4.4 Operating the Brake

• The stroller features a one-step brake located near the rear wheels.
• To engage the brake, press down firmly on the brake pedal.
• To release the brake, lift the pedal upwards.
• Always engage the brake when the stroller is stationary.

4.5 Canopy Adjustment

• The UPF 50+ canopy can be extended or retracted by pushing or pulling its front edge.
• The canopy includes mesh panels for improved airflow and viewing windows to check on your child.

4.6 Storage Basket Use

• The spacious storage basket is located beneath the seat.
• Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 6.6 pounds (3 kg).

5. Maintenance and Care

5.1 Cleaning

• Fabric Parts: The polyester fabric can be spot cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use bleach. Air dry thoroughly.
• Frame: Wipe the aluminum frame with a soft, damp cloth. Dry immediately to prevent rust.
• Wheels: Regularly clean wheels and axles to remove dirt and debris. Lubricate moving parts with a silicone-based lubricant if necessary.

5.2 Storage

• Store the stroller in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• When folded, the stroller dimensions are approximately 22.44" L x 12.6" W x 20.47" H, making it suitable for compact storage.

6. Troubleshooting

• Stroller does not fold/unfold smoothly: Ensure all components are clear of obstructions. Check that the seat is in the most upright position and the canopy is fully retracted. Refer to Section 4.1 for folding instructions.
• Wheels are stiff or squeaky: Clean any debris from the wheel axles. Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to the moving parts of the wheels.
• Harness is difficult to adjust: Ensure straps are not twisted. Refer to Section 4.3 for proper harness adjustment.
• Brake is not engaging: Check for any debris obstructing the brake mechanism. Ensure the brake pedal is fully depressed.
