3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Physical Installation

3.2 DMX Connection (Optional)

For advanced control, connect the fixture to a DMX controller using 3-pin DMX cables.

  1. Connect the DMX output of your controller to the DMX IN port of the first fixture.
  2. For multiple fixtures, daisy-chain them by connecting the DMX OUT of the first fixture to the DMX IN of the next, and so on.
  3. Set the DMX address for each fixture using the onboard LCD menu. Refer to the DMX Channel Chart in Section 4.2 for details.

4. Operation Modes

The U`King 50W LED Moving Head Light offers several operational modes, including DMX-512, Sound Activated, Auto, and Master-Slave.

4.1 Control Panel Overview

The fixture features a 4-button LCD menu for navigation and settings adjustment.

4.2 DMX-512 Mode

  1. Press the MENU button until "Sou" (Sound) appears on the LCD display.
  2. Press ENTER to activate. The fixture will now respond to sound.
  3. Adjust microphone sensitivity if available in the menu.

4.4 Auto Mode

The fixture runs through pre-programmed light shows automatically.

  1. Press the MENU button until "Aut" (Auto) appears on the LCD display.

4.5 Master-Slave Mode

Connect multiple fixtures to synchronize their movements and effects without a DMX controller.

  1. Connect the DMX OUT of the designated Master fixture to the DMX IN of the first Slave fixture.
  2. Daisy-chain subsequent Slave fixtures.
  3. Set the Master fixture to either Sound Activated or Auto mode.
  4. Set all Slave fixtures to "Sla" (Slave) mode via their LCD menus.
