2. Setup and Assembly

The YONISEE 3 Seat Recliner Sofa is designed for easier assembly, arriving approximately 90% pre-assembled. It is shipped in multiple boxes (typically 5) which may arrive at different times. It is recommended that two people assemble the sofa.

Assembly Steps:

1. Unpack Components: Carefully unpack all parts from the boxes. Ensure all components are present according to the included instructions.
2. Position Base Units: Place the base units of the sofa in the desired location.
3. Connect Base Units: Securely connect the base units using the provided hardware. Ensure the metal connections are properly aligned and fastened.
4. Attach Backrests: Slide the backrests onto their corresponding base units. The backrests are designed to easily slot into place.
5. Install Armrests and Console: Attach the armrests and the central console unit. Ensure all connections are firm.
6. Connect Power (if applicable): Plug in any power cords for USB ports or other features.

3. Operating Instructions

Reclining Function:

• To Recline: Locate the round pull ring inside the seat (typically on the side of the seat cushion). Pull the ring to release the footrest. Lean back using your body weight to adjust the backrest to your desired angle (between 90° and 150°).
• To Return Upright: Push down on the footrest with your legs until it locks into the upright position. Note that there may be some resistance when closing the footrest.
• Important Note: This is a manual recliner and is not electric. The middle seat does not have a reclining or open footrest function. It is not recommended for post-surgical recovery due to the manual effort required to close the footrest.

Storage and Connectivity:

• Center Console: Lift the padded lid of the center console to access storage for remotes, books, or other small items. A delicate drawer is also available below the console.
• Cup Holders: Four cup holders are integrated into the armrests and center console for beverages.
• Side Pockets: Use the two side pockets on the outer armrests for magazines, tablets, or other personal items.
• USB Ports: Two USB charging ports are located on the side of the sofa. These ports are suitable for charging low-power devices such as smartphones and tablets.
• Cell Phone Holders: Two flexible 360° rotatable phone holders are provided for hands-free viewing of videos or games. Insert your phone into the holder and adjust to the desired position.
