6. Maintenance and Care

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and smooth operation of your treadmill.

6.1 Cleaning

  • Always unplug the treadmill before cleaning.
  • Wipe down the surface with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Keep the display and control panel dry.

6.2 Lubrication

The running belt requires periodic lubrication to reduce friction and extend its lifespan. Use the provided lubricant or a silicone-based treadmill lubricant.

  1. Unplug the treadmill.
  2. Loosen the belt tension by turning the rear roller bolts counter-clockwise with the L-shaped wrench.
  3. Lift the edge of the running belt and apply a thin line of lubricant along the center of the deck.
  4. Tighten the belt tension by turning the rear roller bolts clockwise until the belt is snug but not overly tight.
  5. Plug in the treadmill and run it at a low speed (e.g., 1 km/h) for a few minutes to distribute the lubricant.

Frequency of lubrication depends on usage. For light use (less than 3 hours/week), lubricate every 3 months. For moderate use (3-6 hours/week), lubricate every 2 months. For heavy use (more than 6 hours/week), lubricate monthly.
