1. Introduction

3. Setup and First Use

Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove the oven and all accessories from the packaging.
  2. Remove any protective films, stickers, or packaging materials from the oven and its accessories.
  3. Inspect the oven for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.

Placement

  • Place the oven on a stable, heat-resistant, and level surface.
  • Ensure there is adequate space (at least 10-15 cm) around all sides of the oven for proper ventilation.
  • Do not place the oven near flammable materials or under wall cabinets.

Before First Use

  1. Wipe the interior and exterior of the oven with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
  2. Wash the wire rack and baking tray in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry completely.
  3. To eliminate any manufacturing odors, operate the oven empty for approximately 15 minutes at maximum temperature (230°C) using both heating elements. Ensure the area is well-ventilated during this process. A small amount of smoke or odor is normal during this initial use.
  4. Allow the oven to cool completely before its first cooking use.

4. Operating Instructions

This section details how to use your NETTA Mini Oven for various cooking tasks.

General Operation

  1. Place the wire rack or baking tray into the desired position inside the oven.
  2. Place the food to be cooked on the rack or tray.
  3. Close the oven door securely.
  4. Plug the oven into a suitable power outlet.
  5. Set the Temperature Control Dial to the desired temperature (100°C - 230°C).
  6. Set the Function Selector Dial to the desired heating mode:
    • Top Heating Element: Ideal for grilling and browning the top of dishes.
    • Bottom Heating Element: Suitable for baking and heating the base of dishes.
    • Both Heating Elements: For general baking, roasting, and even heat distribution.
  7. Set the Timer Dial to the desired cooking time (up to 60 minutes). The power indicator light will illuminate.
  8. When the set time has elapsed, the oven will automatically switch off, and a bell will sound.
  9. To stop cooking before the timer finishes, turn the Timer Dial to the "OFF" position.
  10. Carefully remove cooked food using oven mitts and the provided tray handle.
  11. Unplug the oven from the power outlet after use.

Cooking Tips

  • Preheating: For best results, preheat the oven for 5-10 minutes before placing food inside, especially for baking.
  • Rack Positions: Use higher rack positions for grilling and browning, and lower positions for baking items that require more heat from the bottom.
  • Even Cooking: For larger items, consider rotating the food halfway through the cooking time to ensure even cooking.
  • Monitoring: Always monitor food during cooking, especially when using the grill function, to prevent burning.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning and proper maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your oven.

Cleaning

  1. Always unplug the oven from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Remove the wire rack and baking tray. Wash them in warm, soapy water using a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  3. Wipe the interior surfaces of the oven with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, a non-abrasive cleaner designed for ovens can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive pads that could damage the enamel coating.
  4. Clean the exterior of the oven with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers.
  5. Wipe the glass door with a damp cloth. For streaks, use a glass cleaner.
  6. Ensure all parts are completely dry before plugging the oven back in or storing it.

Storage

When not in use, store the oven in a clean, dry place. Ensure the power cord is neatly coiled and not kinked.
