5. Installation
The Jadeshay GYAR9-A-TY is designed for standard 35mm DIN rail mounting. Ensure proper electrical safety procedures are followed during installation.
Wiring Diagram:

- Connect the Line (L) and Neutral (N) input wires to the top terminals as indicated.
- Connect the load wires to the bottom terminals.
- For automatic reclosing, an external button is not required.
- For manual control of opening and closing, an external button is required. Use a normally open self-reset button. Other button types are not applicable.

6. Setup
Network Distribution Mode (WiFi Connection):
- Ensure the device is powered on.
- Pull out the "LOCK" latch on the device.
- Within 5 seconds, toggle the AUTO-MANU switch back and forth twice to activate network distribution mode.
- Once network distribution is activated, the red indicator light on the earth leakage circuit breaker will flash.
- After successful WiFi connection, the green indicator light will flash.
- After network distribution, set the device to AUTO mode and replace the "LOCK" latch. The device can then be used normally.
TUYA App Connection:
Download the TUYA Smart app from your mobile device's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to add and configure your Jadeshay GYAR9-A-TY device. The app allows for remote control and monitoring.

7. Operating Instructions
Intelligent Automatic Reclosing:
- AUTO Mode: In this mode, if the circuit breaker trips unexpectedly, it will automatically attempt to reclose (reclosing and cycle mode). This mode supports remote operation via the app and does not require manual closing, improving efficiency.
- MANU Mode: In this mode, if the circuit breaker trips unexpectedly, only manual opening and closing are possible. Remote control is not available. The circuit breaker needs to be manually restored after a fault.
TUYA App Control:
The TUYA app allows remote opening and closing of the circuit breaker. In case of a fault, three modes are available:
- Normal Operation: Standard remote control.
- Reclosing Mode (3 times): The device attempts to reclose up to 3 times. The time range for reclosing can be set in the app. After three unsuccessful reclosing attempts, automatic closing will cease, requiring manual intervention.
- Cycle Mode (10 times): The device attempts to reclose 10 times, with each attempt lasting 10 seconds (adjustable from 5 to 200 seconds). After 10 unsuccessful attempts, only manual closing is possible.

LOCK Mode:
After pressing the LOCK mode button, all closing movements are locked. This feature protects the power supply and prevents accidental contact, ensuring safety during maintenance or when the circuit needs to remain open.
8. Maintenance
Monthly Test:
It is recommended to press the "Test Monthly" button on the device at least once a month to ensure the earth leakage protection function is operating correctly. If the device does not trip when the test button is pressed, it may indicate a fault and should be inspected by a qualified electrician.
9. Troubleshooting
The LED digital display provides a 3-digit break code, indicating the number of openings and the countdown to reclosing/recovery. Refer to the app or product documentation for specific error code interpretations.
Common Issues:
- Device not connecting to WiFi: Ensure the device is in network distribution mode (red indicator flashing) and your WiFi network is 2.4GHz. Check router settings and signal strength.
- Device not reclosing automatically: Verify the device is set to AUTO mode. Check the app settings for reclosing and cycle modes. If multiple reclosing attempts fail, a persistent fault may be present.
- Device trips frequently: This indicates a persistent electrical fault (e.g., earth leakage, overload). Consult a qualified electrician to diagnose and resolve the underlying issue in your electrical system.
- Display shows an error code: Note the code and consult the TUYA app or Jadeshay support for specific troubleshooting steps.
