2. Safety Instructions

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in serious injury or death.

  • Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and gloves, when working with hydraulic systems.
  • Ensure the power unit is disconnected from its power source before performing any maintenance, installation, or troubleshooting.
  • Do not exceed the maximum rated pressure or lifting capacity of the unit. Refer to the specifications section.
  • Keep hands and clothing clear of moving parts and hydraulic lines. High-pressure fluid can cause severe injury.
  • Use only recommended hydraulic fluid. Mixing different types of fluid can cause system damage.
  • Ensure all connections are tight and leak-free before operation.
  • Do not operate the unit in explosive atmospheres or near flammable materials.
  • Properly dispose of hydraulic fluid and other waste materials according to local regulations.

6. Operating Instructions

The Mixizap 12V Hydraulic Power Unit is designed for double-acting operation, providing power for both lifting and lowering applications. Use the included remote control for operation.

  1. Pre-Operation Check: Before each use, inspect the unit for any visible damage, leaks, or loose connections. Ensure the hydraulic fluid level is adequate.
  2. Lifting (Power Up): Press and hold the 'Up' button on the remote control. The pump will activate, and the hydraulic cylinder will extend, lifting the load. Release the button to stop lifting.
  3. Lowering (Power Down): Press and hold the 'Down' button on the remote control. The pump will activate, and the hydraulic cylinder will retract, lowering the load. Release the button to stop lowering.
  4. Emergency Stop: In case of an emergency, release the remote control button immediately.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your hydraulic power unit.

  • Check Fluid Level: Regularly check the hydraulic fluid level in the reservoir. Refill as needed with recommended hydraulic fluid.
  • Fluid Replacement: Replace hydraulic fluid periodically, typically every 100-200 hours of operation or annually, whichever comes first. Consult your equipment manufacturer's recommendations.
  • Inspect for Leaks: Periodically inspect all hydraulic lines, fittings, and seals for any signs of leaks. Address leaks immediately to prevent fluid loss and system contamination.
  • Clean Unit: Keep the exterior of the power unit clean and free from dirt, debris, and moisture.
  • Electrical Connections: Check electrical connections for corrosion or looseness. Ensure all wiring is secure.
