1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your TMEZON 2-Wire Video Intercom System. This system is designed for two-family homes, offering enhanced security and convenience with its 7-inch color monitor, HD doorbell camera, two-way audio communication, and night vision capabilities. It also supports electric lock and gate unlock functions.

2. Setup and Installation

Careful installation is crucial for optimal performance. Please follow these guidelines.

2.1 Package Contents

Before installation, verify that all components are present:

  • 2 x 7-inch Indoor Monitors
  • 1 x Outdoor Doorbell Camera Unit
  • 1 x 32V Power Adapter
  • 1 x 2.1m Cable
  • 2 x Screw Bags (for mounting)

2.2 Component Identification

Familiarize yourself with the parts of your intercom system:

2.3 Wiring Diagram

The system uses a 2-wire connection. Ensure proper wiring for functionality. The recommended cable type is RVV2 × 0.75 mm² copper twisted pair, supporting distances up to 50 meters.

2.4 Electric Lock Connection

The outdoor doorbell supports connection to an electric lock and gate lock. Ensure the lock specifications are within the system's limits: Gate lock ≤ 30V 2A, Electric lock ≤ 350mA.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Basic Functions

  • Answering Calls: When a visitor presses the doorbell, the indoor monitor will ring and display the visitor's image. Press the 'Answer' button on the monitor to initiate two-way audio communication.
  • Two-Way Audio: Speak directly with your visitor through the monitor. The system supports clear two-way audio.

3.2 Door/Gate Unlocking

You can unlock connected electric locks or gates directly from the indoor monitor.

  • One-Key Unlock: Press the dedicated unlock button on the indoor monitor to open the connected door or gate.

3.3 Settings and Customization

The 7-inch color monitor features a simple menu for easy adjustments.

  • Ringtones: Choose from 16 colorful ringtones to personalize your doorbell sound.
  • Volume and Brightness: Adjust the doorbell volume and screen brightness to your preference.
  • Do Not Disturb Mode: Activate this mode from the menu to temporarily silence the doorbell.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Weather Resistance

The outdoor doorbell camera is IPX5 waterproof, ensuring stable performance even in adverse weather conditions.

4.2 Night Vision

The integrated infrared night vision ensures clear identification of visitors even in complete darkness.

4.3 Cleaning

To clean the monitor and doorbell unit, use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that may damage the surfaces.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your TMEZON intercom system, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • No Video on Monitor: Check all wiring connections between the outdoor unit and indoor monitors. Ensure the power adapter is securely connected and supplying power.
  • No Audio: Verify that the microphone and speaker connections are correct. Check volume settings on the indoor monitor.
  • Door/Gate Unlock Not Working: Confirm that the electric lock/gate lock is correctly wired to the outdoor unit and that its power requirements are met. Check the lock's functionality independently.
  • Poor Night Vision: Ensure the camera lens is clean and unobstructed. Verify that the IR LEDs are functioning (they may emit a faint red glow).
  • Intermittent Operation: Check for loose wiring connections. Ensure the cable length does not exceed the recommended 50 meters for the specified cable type.
