2. Safety Information

5. Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your weed wacker. Refer to Figure 3 for visual guidance.

  1. Install Baffle: Loosen screws and nuts on the baffle. Align the baffle with the slot and rotate it counter-clockwise to secure.
  2. Install Saw Blade: Align the slot of the circular saw blade, install the washer, nuts, and screws. Ensure the gears of the circular saw blade are counter-clockwise.
  3. Install Side Blade: Attach the side blade as shown.
  4. Install Anti-Collision Steel Rings: Secure the anti-collision steel rings.
  5. Install Handle: Pay attention to the front and rear direction of the handle and secure it.
  6. Align Extension Rod: Align the slot to install the extension rod. Push the black part down, then rotate it to ensure the slot is aligned with the track.
  7. Install Wheels: Attach the wheels. Hold the nuts side with a wrench before tightening the bolt.
  8. Install Wheel Bracket: Secure the wheel bracket.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Battery Installation and Charging

  • Insert a charged 21V battery into the battery slot until it clicks into place.
  • To charge, connect the charger to a power outlet and then to the battery. The indicator light on the charger will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for charged).

6.2. Starting and Stopping the Tool

  • To start, press and hold the safety lock button, then squeeze the power switch.
  • To stop, release the power switch.

6.3. Blade Selection and Usage

Choose the appropriate blade for your task:

  • Plastic Blades: Suitable for light grass trimming and soft lawn mowing.
  • Metal Blades: Ideal for cutting through older weeds, tougher grass, and reeds.
  • 6-inch Saw Blade: Designed for trimming thick shrub branches and heavy bushes (up to 1-2 inches in thickness).

6.4. Adjusting the Cutting Head

The cutting head can be adjusted up to 90 degrees to access hard-to-reach areas, such as sloped sections or tight corners. Loosen the adjustment mechanism, position the head to the desired angle, and secure it firmly.

6.5. Adjusting the Telescopic Rod Length

The telescopic rod can be adjusted from 35 inches (100cm) to 51 inches (130cm) to suit users of different heights. Loosen the locking mechanism, extend or retract the rod to a comfortable length, and then secure the mechanism.

6.6. Using the Wheel Assembly

Attach the wheel assembly for easier movement across lawns, reducing arm strain during extended use. The wheels can be tilted at 45 degrees for smoother operation. Adjust the height of the wheel assembly as needed.

6.7. Side Blade Functionality

The integrated side blade helps prevent tender grass from getting entangled in the motor, improving efficiency and protecting the motor from damage.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: After each use, remove the battery and clean the tool with a dry cloth. Remove any grass, dirt, or debris from the cutting head and ventilation openings.
  • Blade Inspection and Replacement: Regularly inspect blades for wear, damage, or dullness. Replace worn or damaged blades immediately to maintain cutting performance and safety. Refer to the assembly section for blade installation.
  • Storage: Store the weed wacker in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the battery is removed before storage.
