5. Setup

5.1 Power Connection

1. Connect the provided 10ft USB power cable to the clock's USB port.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into the included power adapter.
3. Insert the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The clock will power on automatically.

Note: The clock requires continuous power via the USB cable and adapter. It is not battery-operated for its primary function. The CR2032 button battery is for memory backup only, retaining settings during a power outage.

5.2 Initial Time Synchronization (GPS)

For the most accurate time, the clock can synchronize with GPS satellites:

1. For first-time use, it is recommended to place the clock near a window for approximately 10 minutes to facilitate satellite signal reception.
2. Once a satellite signal is received, a small green light labeled 'GPS' on the clock face will illuminate, indicating successful synchronization.

5.3 Wall Mounting

• The mounting holes are spaced approximately 18 inches apart.
