Controls and Indicators

Setup

Power Supply

Your boombox can be powered by either AC power or batteries.

AC Power Operation

Ensure the unit is turned off.
Connect the supplied AC power cord to the AC power input on the back of the boombox.
Plug the other end of the AC power cord into a standard wall outlet.

Battery Operation

For portable use, the boombox requires 6 x 'C' size batteries (not included).

Ensure the unit is turned off and disconnected from AC power.
Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the unit.
Insert 6 'C' size batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Note: Remove batteries if the unit will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage and damage.

Antenna Setup (for Radio)

For optimal FM radio reception, fully extend the telescopic antenna. For AM reception, rotate the unit for the best signal.

Operating Instructions

General Operation

Power On/Off: Press the Power button to turn the unit on or off.
Select Mode: Press the Mode button repeatedly to cycle through CD, Cassette, Radio, Bluetooth, AUX, and USB modes.
Adjust Volume: Use the Volume +/- buttons to increase or decrease the sound level.

CD Playback

Press the Mode button to select CD mode.
Open the CD compartment cover.
Place a CD (CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3, WMA format) onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
Close the CD compartment cover.
The CD will begin playing automatically. If not, press the Play/Pause button.
Use the Skip/Search buttons to navigate between tracks.
Press the Stop button to stop playback.
Program Play: Refer to the remote control section for programming specific track orders.

Cassette Playback and Recording

Cassette Playback

Press the Mode button to select Cassette mode.
Open the cassette door and insert a cassette tape.
Press the Play button on the unit or remote to start playback.
Use the Fast Forward/Rewind buttons to quickly move through the tape.
Press the Stop/Eject button to stop playback and eject the tape.

Cassette Recording

You can record from CD, Radio, AUX, or Bluetooth to a cassette tape.

Insert a blank cassette tape into the cassette compartment.
Select the desired source (CD, Radio, AUX, or Bluetooth) using the Mode button.
Start playback on the source (e.g., play a CD track, tune to a radio station).
Press the Record button on the boombox. The Play button will also engage.
To stop recording, press the Stop button.

AM/FM Radio

Press the Mode button to select Radio mode.
Extend the telescopic antenna for FM reception. For AM, rotate the unit for best signal.
Use the Tuning dial or buttons to scan for desired radio stations. The frequency will be displayed on the LCD screen.

Bluetooth Mode

Press the Mode button to select Bluetooth mode. The LCD display will show "BT" or a similar indicator, and the unit will enter pairing mode.
On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
Select "V60098BT-BLK" from the list of devices.
Once paired, you can play audio from your device through the boombox.
Use the Play/Pause and Skip buttons on the boombox or your device to control playback.

AUX Input

Press the Mode button to select AUX mode.
Connect one end of the 3.5mm AUX cable (supplied) to the AUX input jack on the boombox.
Connect the other end of the AUX cable to the headphone jack or audio output of your external audio device.
Play audio from your external device. The sound will be output through the boombox speakers.

USB Playback

Press the Mode button to select USB mode.
Insert a USB flash drive (containing MP3 or WMA audio files) into the USB port.
The unit will automatically detect and begin playing audio files from the USB drive.
Use the Play/Pause and Skip buttons to control playback.

Remote Control

The included remote control allows for convenient operation of the boombox from a distance. Insert 2 x AAA batteries (not included) into the remote control before use.

Power: Turns the unit on/off.
Mode: Selects input source (CD, Radio, BT, AUX, USB, Tape).
Volume +/-: Adjusts volume.
Play/Pause: Starts or pauses playback.
Stop: Stops playback.
Skip Forward/Backward: Skips tracks/stations.

Headphone Use

To listen privately, plug 3.5mm stereo headphones (not included) into the headphone jack. The sound from the speakers will be muted automatically.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
For the CD lens, use a specialized CD lens cleaner.
Keep the cassette head clean to ensure optimal sound quality. Use a cassette head cleaning kit periodically.

Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the unit in a cool, dry place. Remove batteries to prevent leakage.

Troubleshooting
