• Heating Plates: Ceramic tourmaline plates that heat up to style hair.
• 18 Conditioning Steam Vents: Release micro-steam for hydration during styling.
• Removable Water Reservoir: Holds distilled water for steam generation. Located on the top of the styler.
• Lock Switch: Secures the plates together for storage or when not in use.
• Temperature Control Buttons: Used to select one of the 6 heat settings.

Initial Setup

1. Prepare Hair: Ensure your hair is clean, dry, and detangled before styling.
2. Fill Water Reservoir:
   • Locate the removable water reservoir on the top of the styler.
   • Gently slide the reservoir out.
   • Open the rubber stopper and fill the reservoir with distilled water only. Do not use tap water, as mineral deposits can clog the steam vents.
   • Close the rubber stopper securely and reinsert the reservoir into the styler until it clicks into place.
3. Plug In: Plug the styler into a suitable electrical outlet (100V-240V compatible).
4. Power On: Press and hold the Power button until the indicator light illuminates.
5. Select Temperature: Use the temperature control buttons to select your desired heat setting. Refer to the "Operating Instructions" section for guidance on temperature selection. The styler will heat up quickly.

Operating Instructions

The H2O Steam Styler is designed for both straightening and curling. Always ensure your hair is dry before using the styler.

Temperature Settings:

The styler offers 6 temperature settings, ranging from 300°F to 450°F. Choose a setting appropriate for your hair type:

• Low (300°F - 340°F): For fine, delicate, or chemically treated hair.
• Medium (350°F - 390°F): For normal, medium, or wavy hair.
• High (400°F - 450°F): For thick, coarse, or very curly hair.

Start with a lower temperature and increase if necessary to achieve desired results without excessive heat exposure.

Straightening Hair:

1. Ensure the water reservoir is filled and the styler is heated to your desired temperature.
2. Section your hair into small, manageable strands (approximately 1-2 inches wide).
3. Take one section of hair and place it between the heating plates, close to the roots.
4. Gently close the plates and glide the styler slowly and steadily down the hair section, from roots to ends. The steam will activate as you glide.
5. Repeat on all sections until your hair is smooth and straight. Avoid passing over the same section multiple times to prevent unnecessary heat exposure.

Curling Hair:

1. Ensure the water reservoir is filled and the styler is heated.
2. Section your hair into small, manageable strands.
3. Take one section of hair and clamp it between the heating plates, about halfway down the strand or closer to the roots for tighter curls.
4. Rotate the styler 180 degrees (either inwards or outwards, depending on desired curl direction) and slowly pull it down through the hair section to the ends. Maintain a consistent, slow pace.
5. Release the hair and allow the curl to cool before touching it to set the style.
6. Repeat on all sections. For a more natural look, alternate curl directions.

Care and Maintenance

Proper care ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your H2O Steam Styler.

1. Cleaning:
   • Always ensure the styler is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning.
   • Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
   • Gently clean the heating plates with a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove any product residue.
   • Empty any remaining water from the reservoir after each use to prevent mineral buildup. Rinse the reservoir with distilled water if necessary.
2. Storage:
   • Ensure the styler is completely cool and dry before storing.
   • Engage the lock switch to keep the plates closed.
   • Store the styler in a safe, dry place, away from moisture and extreme temperatures.
