1. Important Safety Information

Please read this entire manual before assembling or operating your FDW Exercise Bike. Keep this manual for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions could result in injury or damage to the product.

  • The resistance knob also functions as an emergency brake. Press it down firmly to stop the flywheel immediately.

3. Assembly Instructions

Your FDW Exercise Bike requires assembly. Please refer to the detailed assembly instructions included in the product packaging. Ensure all parts are present before beginning assembly.

3.1. Package Contents

Before assembly, verify that all components are included. The package typically contains:

  • Front and Rear Stabilizers

3.2. General Assembly Steps

  1. Attach the front and rear stabilizers to the main frame.
  2. Install the pedals, ensuring the left (L) and right (R) pedals are on the correct sides and tightened securely.
  3. Insert the seat post into the main frame and attach the seat.
  4. Insert the handlebar post into the main frame and attach the handlebars.
  5. Connect the LCD monitor to the handlebar post and attach any sensor wires.

4. Setup and Adjustments

Proper adjustment of the exercise bike is crucial for comfort and effective workouts.

4.1. Seat Adjustment

The seat can be adjusted both vertically (6-speed adjustment) and horizontally to accommodate users of various heights. Loosen the adjustment knob below the seat post, move the seat to the desired position, and tighten the knob firmly. For optimal positioning, your knee should have a slight bend at the bottom of the pedal stroke.

4.2. Handlebar Adjustment

The handlebars offer 4-speed vertical adjustment. Loosen the adjustment knob on the handlebar post, raise or lower the handlebars to a comfortable height, and tighten the knob securely. Your back should be straight and your arms slightly bent when holding the handlebars.

4.3. Pedal Straps

Adjust the foot straps on the pedals to secure your feet. This prevents slippage and provides better support during your workout.

The integrated LCD monitor tracks key workout metrics:

  • Distance: Total distance covered.
  • Speed: Current cycling speed.
  • Calories: Estimated calories burned.
  • Scan: Automatically cycles through all metrics.

The monitor typically activates when you start pedaling. Use the button on the monitor to cycle through display modes or reset values.

5.2. Adjusting Resistance

The exercise bike features an adjustable resistance system. Turn the red knob located in the center of the bike clockwise to increase resistance and counter-clockwise to decrease it. This allows you to simulate different terrains and training difficulties.

5.3. Emergency Stop

In case of an emergency or if you need to stop the flywheel quickly, press down firmly on the red resistance knob. This will engage the brake and bring the flywheel to an immediate halt.

5.4. Transporting the Bike

The exercise bike is equipped with two transport rollers on the front stabilizer. To move the bike, hold the handlebars, tilt the bike forward until it rests on the rollers, and then push it to the desired location.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your exercise bike.

  • Cleaning: Wipe down the bike with a damp cloth after each use to remove sweat and dust. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all bolts and nuts to ensure they are tight. Inspect pedals, seat, and handlebars for any signs of wear or damage.
  • Lubrication: The chain drive system may require occasional lubrication. Refer to the included manual for specific recommendations.
  • Storage: Store the bike in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
