Setup Guide
The PHILIPS RO Water Filtration System is designed for easy setup, requiring no complex plumbing or installation. Simply plug it in and it's ready to use.
- Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Place the Unit: Position the dispenser on a flat, stable surface in your desired location (kitchen counter, office desk, etc.). Ensure there is enough space around the unit for proper ventilation and access to the water reservoir.
- Install the Filter: If the filter is not pre-installed, follow the instructions provided in the filter packaging to securely insert it into the designated compartment. The system features a hassle-free single filter replacement design.
- Fill the Water Reservoir: Detach the 9-cup water reservoir from the back of the unit. Fill it with ambient tap water up to the MAX line. Reattach the reservoir securely to the dispenser.
- Plug In: Connect the power cord to a standard electrical outlet. The unit will power on.
- Initial Flush (Filter Flushing Process): Upon first use or after filter replacement, the system will activate a filter flushing process. A blue light will flash during this process. Allow the system to complete this cycle to prepare the filter for optimal performance. Discard the water dispensed during this initial flush.

Operating Instructions
The dispenser provides instant pure water with a simple one-button operation.
- Dispensing Water: Place a glass or bottle under the dispenser nozzle. Press the dispense button located on the top of the unit. The system will automatically dispense a standard volume of approximately 16.9 oz (500 ml) of filtered water.
- Stopping Dispense: To stop the water flow before the full 16.9 oz is dispensed, simply press the dispense button again. The system will reset for the next full dispense cycle.
- Refilling the Reservoir: When the water reservoir is low or empty, the system will indicate this (e.g., flashing light). Detach the reservoir, refill with ambient tap water, and reattach it to continue dispensing.
