1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow basic safety precautions when using an electrical appliance. Read all instructions before using this vacuum cleaner.

  • Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
  • Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
  • Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended attachments.
  • Do not use with a damaged cord or plug. If appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center.
  • Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
  • Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
  • Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
  • Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce airflow.
  • Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
  • Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
  • Do not pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
  • Do not pick up hard or sharp objects such as glass, nails, screws, coins, etc.
  • Turn off all controls before unplugging.
  • Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
  • Do not use without dust cup and/or filters in place.
  • Store the appliance indoors in a dry place.

4.2. LED Status Display

The high-definition LED display provides real-time information about the vacuum cleaner's status:

  • Battery Level: Accurate percentage display of remaining battery power.
  • Suction Mode: Indicates current operating mode (MIN/MAX).
  • Working Indicator: Shows when the vacuum is active.
  • Floor Brush Blocked Indicator: Alerts if the brush head is obstructed.

4.3. V-Shaped Anti-Tangle Floor Brush

The innovative V-shaped roller brush is designed to effectively separate and collect hair, significantly reducing entanglement issues. The floor brush also features 5 high-brightness LED lights to illuminate dust in dark areas and a 180° omnidirectional rotating design for easy maneuverability around obstacles.

4.4. High-Efficiency Filtration System

5. Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your CHEBIO C8 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner:

  1. Attach the Telescopic Rod: Insert the telescopic rod into the main unit until it clicks securely into place.
  2. Connect the Floor Brush: Attach the floor brush to the other end of the telescopic rod, ensuring it locks firmly.
  3. Install the Battery: Slide the battery pack into the designated slot on the main unit until it clicks.
  4. Attach Accessories (Optional): For handheld use or specific cleaning tasks, attach the desired accessory (e.g., 2-in-1 brush, sofa brush) directly to the main unit or the telescopic rod.

6. Charging the Battery

The CHEBIO C8 features a removable battery that can be charged separately or while attached to the main unit. A full charge takes approximately 4 hours.

  • Charging Method 1 (Attached): Connect the charger to the charging port on the main unit.
  • Charging Method 2 (Detached): Remove the battery pack from the main unit and connect the charger directly to the battery.
  • Wall Mount Charging: The included wall mount plate allows for convenient storage and charging. Install the wall mount in a suitable location and hang the vacuum. The charger can be connected to the vacuum while mounted.

7. Operation

Operating your CHEBIO C8 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is straightforward:

  1. Power On/Off: Press the 'Switch button' on the LED display to turn the vacuum on or off.
  2. Select Suction Mode: Use the 'Speed control button' to switch between MIN (Eco Mode) and MAX (Power Mode).
    • MIN Eco Mode: Provides up to 60 minutes of runtime, ideal for daily light cleaning on hard floors.
    • MAX Power Mode: Offers 20-25 minutes of intensive cleaning, suitable for carpets and stubborn dirt/pet hair.
  3. Cleaning Surfaces: The vacuum is suitable for various floor types, including hard floors and carpets. The LED headlights on the floor brush assist in illuminating debris in dimly lit areas.
  4. Using Attachments: Select the appropriate attachment for specific cleaning needs:
    • 2-in-1 Brush: Versatile for dusting and upholstery.
    • Sofa Brush: Designed for cleaning fabric surfaces and pet hair on furniture.
    • Crevice Nozzle (part of 2-in-1): For narrow gaps and corners.

8. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your vacuum cleaner.

8.1. Emptying the Dust Cup

The 1.5L large dust cup features a one-touch release design for easy emptying. It is recommended to empty the dust cup after each use or when the 'Dust Cup Full' indicator appears on the LED display.

  1. Hold the main unit over a trash bin.
  2. Press the one-touch release button on the dust cup.
  3. Allow contents to fall into the bin. Close the dust cup securely after emptying.

8.2. Cleaning the Filters

The HEPA filter and cyclone filter should be cleaned regularly to maintain suction power. It is recommended to clean them monthly, or more frequently with heavy use.

  1. Remove the dust cup from the main unit.
  2. Separate the HEPA filter and cyclone filter from the dust cup assembly.
  3. Tap off loose dirt over a trash bin.
  4. Rinse both filters under cold running water until the water runs clear. Do not use detergent.
  5. Allow filters to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reassembling. Do not use a hairdryer or other heating methods.
  6. Reassemble the filters and dust cup, then reattach to the main unit.

8.3. Cleaning the Roller Brush

Periodically check the V-shaped anti-tangle roller brush for tangled hair or debris. Use the included hair cleaning tool to cut and remove any entangled material. The roller brush can be removed for deeper cleaning if necessary.

9. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your CHEBIO C8 vacuum, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
