• Extendable Bed Frame: Features a second pull-out bed frame underneath, allowing conversion from a single bed (90 x 200 cm) to a double bed (180 x 200 cm). Ideal for small spaces or guest rooms.
• Multifunctional Storage Compartments: Three storage compartments are integrated into the side of the bed.
• Integrated USB Port: The middle storage compartment includes a USB port for convenient charging of devices.

4. Setup and Assembly

Assembly is required for this product. Please follow the detailed assembly instructions provided in the separate manual included with your purchase. All necessary assembly tools are included.

Important Note: The product is delivered in two separate packages. If you receive only one package, please wait for the second package to arrive before starting assembly.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Extending the Sofa Bed

The sofa bed can be easily converted from a single bed to a double bed configuration.

1. To extend: Gently pull the lower bed frame outwards from beneath the main frame. The trundle bed mechanism will lift and lock into place, aligning with the main bed frame.
2. To retract: Push the lower bed frame back underneath the main frame until it is fully stored.

Note: Mattresses are not included. For both mattresses to be flush, a recommended mattress height of 12 cm is advised for the trundle bed.

5.2. Using the LED Light and USB Port

The integrated LED lighting and USB charging port are located in the headboard's storage compartments.

• LED Light: Connect the power cable for the LED lights to a suitable power source. Use the integrated switch or remote control (if provided) to turn the lights on/off and adjust settings.
• USB Port: Plug your device's USB charging cable into the USB port located in the middle storage compartment to charge your electronic devices. Ensure the bed's power supply is connected.

5.3. Using Storage Compartments

The three compartments in the headboard provide convenient storage for books, small electronics, or decorative items.

6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and appearance of your Merax Sofa Bed, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Cleaning: Wipe clean with a dry cloth. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Fasteners: Periodically check all bolts and screws to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary to maintain stability.
• Fabric Care: Avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading. Do not use sharp objects on the upholstery.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Merax Extendable Sofa Bed, please refer to the following common solutions:

• Difficulty Extending/Retracting: Ensure no obstructions are blocking the trundle bed mechanism. Check that all assembly bolts are properly tightened and not causing misalignment.
• LED Lights Not Working: Verify that the power cable is securely plugged into both the bed and a working power outlet. Check for any loose connections.
• USB Port Not Charging: Confirm the bed's power supply is connected. Try a different USB cable or device to rule out cable/device issues.
• Wobbling/Instability: Re-check all assembly connections and tighten any loose bolts. Ensure the bed is placed on a flat, even surface.
• Missing Parts: If you find any parts missing upon delivery, please contact the retailer or manufacturer immediately. Remember the product ships in two packages.
