4. Setup Guide
Follow these steps to connect your KVM switch:
- Power Off Devices: Ensure all computers and monitors are powered off before making any connections.
- Connect Monitors to KVM: Connect your three monitors to the KVM switch's output ports (OUT A, OUT B, OUT C) using appropriate HDMI and DisplayPort cables.
- Connect Computers to KVM (Video): For each computer (PC1, PC2, PC3, PC4), connect its video outputs to the corresponding KVM input ports. Each PC requires 2 HDMI and 1 DisplayPort connection to the KVM for triple monitor display.
- Connect Computers to KVM (USB): For each computer, connect one end of a USB 3.0 cable to a USB 3.0 port on your computer and the other end to the corresponding USB 3.0 input port on the KVM switch (INPUT A1, A2, A3, A4).
- Connect Peripherals: Connect your keyboard, mouse, and other USB 3.0 peripherals (e.g., printer, USB flash drive) to the USB 3.0 ports on the front panel of the KVM switch.
- Connect Wired Remote: Plug the wired remote into the designated port on the KVM switch.
- Power On: Connect the power adapter to the KVM switch and then plug it into a power outlet. Power on the KVM switch, then your monitors, and finally your computers.
Important Note:
- Each PC requires 2 HDMI, 1 DisplayPort, and 1 USB cable connection to the KVM switch for proper triple monitor display.
- If your PC does not have the required 1 DisplayPort and 2 HDMI ports, adapters such as DP to HDMI, Mini DP to DP, USB-C to DP/HDMI, or a USB-C docking station may be used.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Switching Between Computers
You can switch between the connected computers using one of two methods:
- Front Panel Button: Press the corresponding PC1, PC2, PC3, or PC4 button on the front panel of the KVM switch to select the desired computer. The LED indicator above the button will illuminate to show the active computer.
- Wired Remote: Use the included wired remote control to switch between computers. Press the button on the remote to cycle through the connected PCs.

5.2 Display Modes
The KVM switch supports two primary display modes:
- Extended Mode: Displays three different screens across your monitors, allowing for an expanded desktop workspace.
- Mirrored Mode: Displays the same content on all three monitors.
You can typically switch between these modes using your computer's operating system display settings (e.g., Windows Key + P on Windows).

5.3 EDID Emulation
The KVM switch incorporates EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) emulation. This feature ensures that when you switch between computers, the KVM retains the display's resolution and refresh rate information. This prevents your windows from being rearranged or resized, providing a consistent desktop layout.

6. Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your KVM switch, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the KVM switch. Avoid using liquid cleaners or aerosols, which may damage the device.
- Ventilation: Ensure the KVM switch is placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating. Do not block any ventilation openings.
- Cable Management: Keep cables organized and free from kinks or excessive bending to prevent damage and ensure stable connections.
- Power Supply: Use only the provided power adapter. If a replacement is needed, ensure it matches the original specifications (5V operating voltage, 2A current rating).
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your KVM switch, refer to the following troubleshooting tips:
- No Display on Monitors:
- Ensure all video cables (HDMI, DisplayPort) are securely connected between the computers, KVM switch, and monitors.
- Verify that the KVM switch is powered on and the correct computer is selected.
- Check monitor input sources to ensure they are set to the correct HDMI/DisplayPort input.
- Try connecting monitors directly to a computer to rule out monitor issues.
- Keyboard/Mouse Not Responding:
- Ensure the USB 3.0 cables are securely connected from each computer to the KVM switch.
- Verify that the keyboard and mouse are plugged into the dedicated USB ports on the KVM switch.
- Try connecting the keyboard and mouse directly to the computer to confirm they are functional.
- Restart the KVM switch and the connected computers.
- Window Rearrangement After Switching:
- The KVM switch features EDID simulation to prevent this. Ensure all connections are stable. If the issue persists, check for firmware updates (if available) or contact support.
- Intermittent Connections:
- Check all cables for damage or loose connections. Replace any faulty cables.
- Ensure the power adapter is securely connected and providing stable power.
- Reduce cable lengths if possible, especially for high-resolution video.
- 4K@60Hz Not Achieved:
- Ensure your monitors and graphics cards support 4K@60Hz.
- Use high-quality HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 (or higher) cables.
- Check your computer's display settings to ensure the resolution and refresh rate are correctly configured.
