1. Product Overview

The MURAUX 1080P Full HD Camcorder Model A01 is designed for capturing high-quality video and photos. Featuring 1080P resolution at 30 frames per second and a 30MP sensor, this camcorder includes infrared night vision, 18X digital zoom, and a 3.0-inch 270° rotatable LCD screen. 3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment at the bottom of the camcorder.
  2. Slide the battery compartment cover open.
  3. Insert a fully charged Lithium Ion battery, ensuring correct polarity.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover until it clicks securely.

Two rechargeable batteries are included to ensure extended recording time.

3.2 Memory Card Installation

The camcorder supports SD cards up to 128GB. A 32GB SD card is included.

  1. Open the side cover of the camcorder to reveal the SD card slot.
  2. Insert the SD card with the metal contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, gently press the card until it springs out.

3.3 Charging the Camcorder

Use the provided USB cable and charging adapter to charge the camcorder.

  1. Connect the USB cable to the camcorder's USB port.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to the charging adapter.
  3. Plug the charging adapter into a power outlet.
  4. The charging indicator light will illuminate. Charging is complete when the light turns off.

3.4 Mini Tripod Attachment

The included mini tripod can be attached to the camcorder's standard tripod mount for stable recording or used as a hand grip.

  1. Locate the tripod screw hole at the bottom of the camcorder.
  2. Screw the mini tripod securely into the mount.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: Open the LCD screen to power on the camcorder. Close the LCD screen to power off.
  • Recording Video: Press the Record button to start recording. Press it again to stop.
  • Taking Photos: Press the Photo button to capture a still image.

4.2 Screen Functions

The 3.0-inch LCD screen is rotatable up to 270°, allowing for flexible viewing angles, including self-recording. The screen also features touch functionality for navigating menus and settings.

4.3 Infrared Night Vision

The camcorder is equipped with IR night vision for recording in low-light or dark conditions, producing clear black-and-white video and photos.

4.4 Remote Control

Use the included remote control for convenient operation, especially for group shots or when the camcorder is mounted on a tripod.

4.5 Webcam Function & HDMI Output

  • Webcam: Connect the camcorder to a computer via USB to use it as a webcam for live streaming or video calls. (Note: In PC Cam mode, the camera display will sleep; it functions only through the computer or phone screen.)
  • HDMI Output: Connect the camcorder to a TV using a standard mini HDMI cable (not included) to view your recordings on a larger screen.

4.6 Advanced Recording Features

  • Video Pause: Pause recording and resume in the same file.
  • Time-Lapse: Capture sequences of images over time.
  • Slow Motion: Record videos for slow-motion playback.
  • Continuous Shooting: Take multiple photos in quick succession.
  • Self-Timer: Set a delay before recording or taking a photo.

4.7 WiFi Connection

Download the "XDV PRO" app to your smartphone to control the camcorder remotely and transfer files via WiFi.

5. Maintenance

  • Keep the camcorder clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Avoid exposing the camcorder to extreme temperatures, dust, or moisture.
  • Store the camcorder in its protective carry case when not in use.
  • Ensure the lens cover is on when storing to protect the lens.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your camcorder, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Camcorder not powering on: Ensure the battery is correctly installed and fully charged.
  • Cannot record: Check if an SD card is inserted and has sufficient free space. Ensure the card is not locked.
  • Poor video quality: Verify lighting conditions. For low light, activate IR night vision. Ensure the lens is clean.
  • Remote control not working: Check the remote control's battery. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the camcorder.
  • PC Cam mode display issue: The camcorder's screen will turn off in PC Cam mode; monitor the display on your computer or phone.
