3.1 Earbud Components

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Earbuds and Case

1. Place the earbuds into the charging case. Ensure they are correctly seated; the earbud LEDs will indicate charging.
2. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the case's USB-C port and the other end to a USB power source.
3. The case LEDs will indicate charging status. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.
4. A 10-minute charge provides approximately 60 minutes of playback.

4.2 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Initial Pairing: Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode, and their LEDs will flash.
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "JVC HAA23TW" from the list of devices.
4. Once connected, the earbud LEDs will stop flashing, and you will hear a confirmation tone.
5. Re-pairing: If the earbuds do not automatically connect to a previously paired device, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and select "JVC HAA23TW" from your Bluetooth settings.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Open the charging case or remove the earbuds from the case. They will power on automatically.
• Power Off: Place the earbuds back into the charging case and close the lid. They will power off automatically.

5.2 Music Playback

• Play/Pause: Single tap either earbud.
• Next Track: Double tap the right earbud.
• Previous Track: Double tap the left earbud.
• Volume Up: Triple tap the right earbud.
• Volume Down: Triple tap the left earbud.

5.3 Call Management

• Answer/End Call: Single tap either earbud during an incoming call or active call.
• Reject Call: Press and hold either earbud for 2 seconds during an incoming call.
