5. Setup

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection

The Necchi AutoPower 500-S features a touch control panel for easy operation.

1. Press the power button (U) on the control panel to turn the vacuum cleaner on or off.
2. Press the mode selection button (fan icon) to cycle through the 4 available cleaning modes: AUTO, NORMAL, TURBO, and TURBO+.

• AUTO Mode: The intelligent sensor automatically adjusts suction power based on the detected dust level and floor type.

6.2 Using Attachments

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your vacuum cleaner.

7.1 Emptying the Dustbin

The Necchi AutoPower 500-S features an automatic emptying station. When the vacuum is placed on the charging station, the dustbin can be automatically emptied into a larger container within the station.

• Ensure the automatic emptying function is enabled on the charging station.
• Place the vacuum cleaner onto the charging station. The station will automatically initiate the emptying process.
• Alternatively, the dustbin can be manually emptied by detaching it from the main unit and opening the bottom flap over a waste bin.

7.2 Cleaning Filters

The vacuum cleaner uses a multi-stage filtration system including a HEPA H13 filter, a multi-cyclonic filter, and a permanent filter. Clean filters regularly to maintain suction power.

1. Turn off the vacuum cleaner and detach the dustbin.
2. Remove the HEPA filter and multi-cyclonic filter assembly.
3. Tap out loose dirt. Rinse the filters under cold running water. Do not use detergent.
4. Allow filters to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reassembling. Do not use a hairdryer or other heating devices.

7.3 Cleaning the Motorized Floor Brush

Hair and debris can get tangled in the brush roll. Clean it regularly.

1. Turn off the vacuum cleaner and detach the floor brush.
2. Locate the release tab or button on the side of the brush head and open the cover.
3. Remove the brush roll. Use scissors to cut away any tangled hair or fibers.
4. Clean any debris from the brush housing.
5. Reinsert the brush roll and close the cover securely.
