5.1. Ingredient Preparation

  • Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly.
  • Remove any hard pits, seeds, or thick skins (e.g., citrus peels, pineapple skin).
  • For the wide feed chute (3.3 inches), larger pieces of fruits and vegetables can be used, reducing pre-cutting time.
  • For the narrower feed chute (1.3 inches), cut ingredients into strip shapes.
  • Cutting ingredients into appropriate sizes helps prevent clogging and ensures efficient juicing.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your juicer, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Juicer does not turn on.Not plugged in; parts not assembled correctly; safety lock not engaged.Ensure power cord is securely plugged in. Check that all components are correctly assembled and locked into place.
Juicer stops during operation or clogs.Too much ingredient fed at once; hard ingredients causing blockage.Press the 'REV' button to clear the blockage. If the issue persists, turn off, unplug, disassemble, and clear any jammed ingredients manually. Reduce the amount of ingredients fed at one time.
Low juice yield or wet pulp.Ingredients not suitable for juicing; improper preparation.Ensure ingredients are fresh and properly prepared (e.g., remove tough skins). Some very fibrous ingredients may naturally yield wetter pulp.
Excessive noise or vibration.Improper assembly; foreign object.Turn off and unplug. Reassemble all parts carefully. Check for any foreign objects inside the juicing chamber.
