- Determine the desired location for your closet system. The system is ideal for spaces 5 to 9 feet wide.
- Using a stud finder, locate and mark the wall studs where the storage tower will be mounted. If studs are not available, use appropriate heavy-duty wall anchors (not always included, verify package contents).
- Position the assembled storage tower against the wall. Use a level to ensure it is perfectly vertical.
- Mark the drilling points through the pre-drilled holes on the back of the storage tower onto the wall.
- Drill pilot holes into the wall at the marked locations. If drilling into studs, use a smaller drill bit. If using wall anchors, drill holes according to anchor manufacturer instructions.
- Secure the storage tower to the wall using the provided screws and wall anchors (if applicable). Ensure the connection is firm and stable.
4.4 Installing Hanging Rods
The system includes three fixed-length hanging rods. These can be configured on either side of the storage tower or cut to fit smaller spaces.
- Determine the desired height and position for each hanging rod. The rods can be placed on either side of the central tower.
- Attach the rod supports to the side panels of the storage tower at the chosen height using the provided screws.
- If necessary, measure and cut the hanging rods to the required length using a hacksaw or pipe cutter. Ensure clean cuts to avoid sharp edges.
