3. Setup

3.1. Charging the Device

Before initial use, fully charge the device using the provided Power Adaptor. Connect the adaptor to the DC 12V input port on the meter and plug it into a standard electrical outlet. The 'Charge' indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.

3.2. Initial Power On

Press and hold the POWER button to turn on the device. The main menu will appear on the screen.

3.3. Connecting to an Antenna/LNB

Connect your satellite LNB, terrestrial antenna, or cable signal source to the appropriate input port on the device. Refer to the port labels on the meter for correct connection.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Main Menu Navigation

Use the directional buttons (UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT) to navigate through the menu icons. Press OK to select an option. Press EXIT to return to the previous menu or the main screen.

4.2. Satellite (DVB-S2) Signal Finding

  1. From the main menu, select the DVB-S2 icon.
  2. Choose the desired satellite from the list or add a new one.
  3. Select a transponder frequency.
  4. Adjust the satellite dish direction while observing the signal strength and quality indicators on the screen. Maximize these values for optimal reception.
  5. Once a strong signal is acquired, press OK to save or proceed to channel scanning.

4.3. Terrestrial (DVB-T/T2) Signal Finding

  1. From the main menu, select the DVB-T2 icon.
  2. Select your region or manually enter channel parameters.
  3. Adjust the terrestrial antenna direction while monitoring signal strength and quality.
  4. Perform a channel scan once the signal is stable.

4.4. Cable (DVB-C) Signal Finding

  1. From the main menu, select the DVB-C icon.
  2. Enter the necessary cable network parameters (e.g., frequency, symbol rate, modulation).
  3. The meter will display signal strength and quality.
  4. Proceed with channel scanning if desired.

4.5. System Settings

Access the System Settings menu to configure language, time, display brightness, factory reset, and software updates.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning

Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as they may damage the screen or casing.

5.2. Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the device frequently. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50% and store in a cool, dry place.

5.3. Storage

Store the device in its carrying case in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
