4. Setup Instructions
4.1. Charging the Mouse
Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge your VGN F1 PRO mouse.
- Locate the USB-C port on the front of the mouse.
- Connect the provided USB-C to USB-A cable to the mouse.
- Plug the USB-A end of the cable into a powered USB port on your computer or a USB wall adapter.
- The LED indicator on the mouse will show charging status (Orange: Charging in Progress). It will turn Green when fully charged.
4.2. Connecting Wirelessly (2.4GHz)
For wireless operation, use the provided USB Type A receiver.
- Locate the USB Type A receiver. It may be stored in the compartment on the underside of the mouse.
- Plug the USB Type A receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- Turn on the mouse using the Power Switch located on the underside of the mouse.
- The mouse should automatically connect to the receiver. The LED indicator will show Green for normal battery level.
4.3. Connecting via Wired Mode
The mouse can also be used in wired mode, which also charges the device.
- Connect the provided USB-C to USB-A cable to the mouse's USB-C port.
- Plug the USB-A end of the cable into a USB port on your computer.
- The mouse will function immediately in wired mode and begin charging.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. DPI Adjustment
The DPI (Dots Per Inch) can be adjusted to control cursor sensitivity. The mouse features a dedicated DPI button on its underside.
- Press the DPI Button on the underside of the mouse to cycle through preset DPI levels.
- For fine-tuning DPI from 50 to 26,000, use the VGN HUB software.
5.2. Button Customization
The 6 buttons on the VGN F1 PRO mouse are fully programmable via the VGN HUB software.
- Download and install the VGN HUB software from the official VGN website.
- Launch the VGN HUB software.
- Navigate to the "Remap Keys" or "Button Assignment" section.
- Select the button you wish to customize and assign a new function, macro, or keybind.
- Save your changes to apply the new settings.
5.3. Power Management
The mouse features an On/Off switch to conserve battery life when not in use.
- To turn off the mouse, slide the Power Switch to the "OFF" position.
- To turn on the mouse, slide the Power Switch to the "ON" position.
- The LED indicator will display battery status: Green (Normal), Orange (Charging in Progress), Red (Battery Low - Recharge Soon).
