5. Setup

5.1 Charging Dock Placement

  1. Place the charging dock on a hard, level surface against a wall.
  2. Ensure there is at least 0.5 meters (1.6 feet) of clear space on both sides and 1.5 meters (4.9 feet) in front of the dock.
  3. Keep the area free from obstacles, such as power cables or furniture.

5.2 Power Connection

  1. Connect the power cable to the charging dock.
  2. Plug the other end of the power cable into a wall outlet.

5.3 Initial Charge

  1. Place the robot on the charging dock. Ensure the charging contacts on the robot align with those on the dock.
  2. The robot will power on automatically and begin charging. Allow the robot to fully charge before its first use.

5.4 App Download and Connection

  1. Download the Roborock app from your mobile device's app store (iOS or Android).
  2. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account and add your Roborock Q7 TF.
  3. Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz for optimal connection.

5.5 Water Tank Filling (for Mopping)

  1. Remove the integrated dustbin and water tank unit from the robot.
  2. Open the water tank cap and fill it with clean water. Do not use detergents or cleaning solutions not approved by Roborock.
  3. Close the cap securely and reinsert the unit into the robot.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Starting/Pausing/Stopping Cleaning

  • Start Cleaning: Press the Power/Clean button on the robot or use the Roborock app. The robot will begin cleaning the entire area.
  • Pause Cleaning: Press the Power/Clean button during operation.
  • Stop Cleaning: Press and hold the Power/Clean button for 3 seconds, or use the app to send the robot back to the dock.

6.2 Mopping Function

The Roborock Q7 TF can vacuum and mop simultaneously. Ensure the water tank is filled and the mop cloth is attached (if applicable).

7. Maintenance

7.1 Dustbin and Filter

  1. Empty Dustbin: Press the release button to remove the integrated dustbin/water tank unit. Open the dustbin lid and empty its contents into a trash bin.
  2. Clean Filter: Remove the HEPA filter from the dustbin. Tap it gently to remove dust. Rinse the filter with water if necessary, but ensure it is completely dry before reinstallation (allow 24 hours).
  3. Frequency: Empty dustbin after each use. Clean filter weekly. Replace filter every 3-6 months.

7.2 Main Brush
