Setup

1. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your COMPAQ QTab Ultra tablet. Connect the USB-C cable to the tablet's USB-C port and the power adapter, then plug the adapter into a wall outlet. The charging indicator will show the charging status.

2. Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power Button until the COMPAQ logo appears on the screen.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power Button until a power-off menu appears. Select 'Power off'.
  • To Sleep/Wake: Briefly press the Power Button.

3. Initial Android Setup

Upon first power-on, follow the on-screen prompts to complete the initial setup:

  • Select your preferred language.
  • Connect to a Wi-Fi network.
  • Sign in with your Google account or create a new one.
  • Review and accept the terms and conditions.

4. Inserting a MicroSD Card (Optional)

The QTab Ultra supports storage expansion up to 2TB via a microSD card. Locate the microSD card slot on the side of the tablet. Gently insert the microSD card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the tablet is powered off before inserting or removing the card.

Operating Instructions

1. Touchscreen Gestures

Navigate your tablet using standard Android touchscreen gestures:

  • Tap: Select an item or open an application.
  • Swipe: Scroll through pages or lists.
  • Pinch-to-Zoom: Zoom in or out on images and web pages.
  • Long Press: Access contextual menus or move icons.

2. Stylus Pen Usage

The included Stylus Pen enhances precision for drawing, writing, and navigation. Simply touch the pen to the screen to interact. The tablet is designed to recognize stylus input for various applications.

3. Connecting to Wi-Fi

To connect to a Wi-Fi network:

  1. Go to Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi.
  2. Turn on Wi-Fi.
  3. Select your desired 5GHz network from the list.
  4. Enter the password if prompted and tap Connect.

4. Connecting Bluetooth Devices

To pair Bluetooth 5.0 devices (e.g., headphones, keyboards):

  1. Go to Settings > Connected devices > Bluetooth.
  2. Turn on Bluetooth.
  3. Ensure your Bluetooth device is in pairing mode.
  4. Select the device from the list and follow any on-screen instructions to complete pairing.

5. USB-C Functionality

The USB-C port supports charging, data transfer, and OTG (On-The-Go) functionality. With an OTG adapter (sold separately), you can connect USB peripherals like flash drives or external keyboards.

6. Android 15 Features

Your tablet runs on Android 15, offering a fluid user experience, modern interface, and enhanced security features. Explore the various apps and customization options available through the operating system.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Tablet

Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the screen and body of the tablet. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen cleaner specifically designed for electronics. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

2. Battery Care

  • Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
  • Do not expose the tablet to extreme temperatures (hot or cold), as this can degrade battery life.
  • Use only the provided charger and cable for optimal charging performance.

3. Software Updates
