This manual provides detailed instructions for the proper use and maintenance of the Elitech PG-30Pro Digital Pressure Gauge. This device is designed for accurate pressure measurement in refrigeration and HVAC systems. Please read this manual thoroughly before operation to ensure correct usage and to prevent damage.

2. Product Features
- Stable and Reliable Sensor: Utilizes a temperature-compensated pressure sensor, ensuring temperature drift does not exceed ±0.04%FS/℃.
- LCD Screen & Blue Backlight Display: Features a partitioned display for various measurements, providing direct readings for all parameters. The blue backlight enhances visibility in low-light conditions.

3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the rear of the device.
- Remove the cover by twisting or sliding it according to the markings.
- Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover securely.
3.2 Initial Connection
- Ensure the system to which the gauge will be connected is depressurized or isolated.
- Carefully thread the 1/8'' NPT fitting of the digital pressure gauge onto the appropriate port of your HVAC or refrigeration system.
- Tighten the connection firmly by hand, then use a wrench for a final snug turn to prevent leaks. Do not overtighten.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
- To power on the device, press the Power button (⏻) located at the top of the gauge.
- To power off the device, press and hold the Power button (⏻) for approximately 3 seconds until the display turns off.
4.2 Zero Function
The zero function is used to correct any minor deviations at the zero pressure point before taking a measurement.
- Ensure the gauge is disconnected from any pressure source and is at ambient atmospheric pressure.
- Press the ZERO button (▶) located at the bottom right of the gauge. The display should show 0.000 psi (or selected pressure unit).

4.3 Changing Units (Pressure/Temperature)
To cycle through available pressure and temperature units:
- Press the SET button (◀) to enter the unit selection mode.
- Use the ZERO button (▶) to cycle through the available pressure units (psi, kg/cm², cmHg, bar, kPa, Mpa, kg/cm²).
- Press the SET button (◀) again to switch to temperature unit selection.
- Use the ZERO button (▶) to select between °C and °F.
- Press the SET button (◀) to confirm your selection and exit unit setting mode.

4.4 Selecting Refrigerants
The gauge has a built-in database of refrigerants for PT comparison.
- While in normal measurement mode, press and hold the SET button (◀) to enter refrigerant selection mode.
- Use the ZERO button (▶) to scroll through the list of available refrigerants.
- Once the desired refrigerant is displayed, press the SET button (◀) to confirm your selection and return to measurement mode.
4.5 Reading Measurements
Once connected and powered on, the gauge will display the current pressure and corresponding saturation temperature for the selected refrigerant on its LCD screen.
4.6 Max/Min Value Display and Reset
To view the recorded maximum and minimum pressure values:
- Briefly press the Power button (⏻) during operation to cycle through current, maximum, and minimum pressure readings.
- To reset the recorded Max/Min values, press and hold the ZERO button (▶) while the Max/Min values are displayed.

4.7 Auto Shut-Off Setting
The gauge features an adjustable auto shut-off time to conserve battery life.
- To adjust the auto shut-off time, press and hold the SET button (◀) until the auto shut-off setting appears.
- Use the ZERO button (▶) to cycle through the available time options (e.g., 10 minutes, 20 minutes, Off).
- Press the SET button (◀) to confirm your selection.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
- Wipe the exterior of the gauge with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure no moisture enters the sensor port or battery compartment.
5.2 Battery Replacement
- Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display.
- Follow the battery installation steps outlined in Section 3.1.
- Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.
5.3 Storage
- Store the gauge in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- If storing for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
