1. Introduction

This instruction manual provides detailed guidance for the assembly, operation, and maintenance of your Heybly Cat Tree Tower, Model HCT009SG. Designed to provide a multi-level activity center for your feline companions, this cat tree features various elements for climbing, scratching, resting, and playing.

Please read this manual thoroughly before assembly and use to ensure proper setup and safe enjoyment for your pets.

2. Safety Instructions

• Always place the cat tree on a flat, stable surface to prevent tipping.
• For added stability, position the cat tree against a wall.
• Regularly check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Retighten as necessary.
• Keep small children away from the cat tree during assembly and ensure they do not climb on it.

3. Package Contents

4. Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps carefully to assemble your cat tree. Refer to the component image (Figure 3.1) for identification.

1. Attach Base Posts: Secure the shortest scratching posts to the baseboard using the provided screws and Allen wrench.
2. Install Lower Platform: Attach the first small platform above the base posts.
3. Assemble Ladder: Connect the ladder to the baseboard and the first platform. Ensure the sisal-covered steps are facing upwards.
4. Add Main Support Posts: Attach the taller scratching posts to the lower platform.
5. Mount Cat Condo: Place the cat condo onto the main support posts and secure it.
6. Attach Basket: Secure the hanging basket to the side of the cat condo or an adjacent post, ensuring it is stable.
7. Install Top Perch: Attach the wide plush top perch to the top of the cat condo.
8. Attach Hanging Toy: Secure the hanging toy ball to the designated loop on the cat condo or top perch.
9. Secure Anti-Tip Strap: Attach one end of the anti-tip strap to the top of the cat tree and the other end to a wall stud using appropriate hardware (not always included).
10. Final Check: Ensure all connections are tight and the cat tree is stable before allowing your cats to use it.

• Climbing and Exploration: The multi-level design with a sisal-wrapped ladder allows cats of all ages, including kittens and senior cats, to easily climb and explore.
• Scratching: The sisal-covered scratching posts and ladder steps provide ample surfaces for your cat to satisfy their natural scratching instincts, helping to protect your furniture.
• Resting and Lounging:
  • Cat Condo: A spacious, enclosed cabin offers a secure and cozy spot for naps and hiding.
  • Hanging Basket: The plush, basket-shaped hammock provides a comfortable, wrapped-around feel for lounging.
  • Wide Top Perch: An elevated platform with a soft pad and protective rims offers a prime spot for observation and relaxation. This perch is easily removable for cleaning.
• Play: The hanging toy ball encourages playful interaction and exercise.
