Setup
1. Charging the Appliance
- Before first use, fully charge the clipper and trimmer.
- Connect the USB charging cable to the charging port on the bottom of the clipper/trimmer and plug the other end into a suitable USB power adapter (not included).
- The LED display will indicate the charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 3 hours.
- Once fully charged, the clipper provides up to 250 minutes of continuous use, and the trimmer provides up to 240 minutes.
2. Attaching Guide Combs
- Ensure the appliance is switched off.
- Select the desired guide comb for your preferred cutting length.
- Align the guide comb with the blade and push it firmly until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently pull the comb away from the blade.
3. Adjusting the Taper Lever (Clipper Only)
The clipper features an adjustable taper lever on the side, allowing for fine-tuning of cutting length without changing guide combs. This lever adjusts the blade from approximately 0.5mm to 2.5mm.
- Push the lever up for the shortest cut (0.5mm).
- Pull the lever down for a longer cut (2.5mm).
- Intermediate positions provide varying lengths between 0.5mm and 2.5mm.
Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off
Press the ON/OFF switch located on the side of the appliance to turn it on or off. The LED display will illuminate when the device is active.
2. Adjusting Motor Speed (Clipper Only)
The clipper features a dual-speed intelligent torque motor with a turbo function:
- Press the power button once to turn on the clipper at the standard speed (7000 RPM).
- Press the power button a second time to activate the turbo function, increasing the speed to 9000 RPM for thicker hair or faster cutting.
- Press the power button a third time to turn off the clipper.
3. Hair Cutting and Trimming
- Ensure hair is clean and dry for best results.
- Attach the appropriate guide comb for the desired length.
- Hold the clipper/trimmer with the blades pointing downwards and the flat top of the comb resting against the scalp.
- Move the appliance slowly against the direction of hair growth.
- For blending and fading, utilize the taper lever on the clipper to gradually adjust the cutting length.
- Use the trimmer for precise detailing, outlining, and zero-gap cutting around the hairline, beard, or intricate areas.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Blades
- After each use, switch off the appliance and detach any guide combs.
- Use the provided cleaning brush to remove loose hairs from the blades and the inside of the cutting head.
- For a more thorough clean, the blades can be carefully removed (refer to specific blade removal instructions if provided in a separate guide or on the product packaging).
2. Lubricating the Blades
- After cleaning, apply a few drops of the provided lubricating oil to the blades.
- Turn on the appliance for a few seconds to allow the oil to distribute evenly across the blades.
- Wipe off any excess oil with a soft cloth. Regular oiling ensures optimal cutting performance and extends blade life.
3. Storage
Store the clipper and trimmer in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Use the protective covers to shield the blades from damage when not in use.
