1. Pre-soak Filter: Before first use, soak the carbon filter in clean water for 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly under running water. This removes any loose carbon dust.
2. Assemble Pump: Ensure the filter sponge is attached to the pump. If disassembled for cleaning, reassemble the pump components (impeller, impeller cover, pump housing) and attach the filter sponge.
3. Place Pump: Position the assembled pump securely in the designated area within the stainless steel water tray.
4. Fill Water Tank: Fill the stainless steel water tank with clean water. Observe the minimum and maximum fill lines indicated inside the tank. Do not overfill or underfill.
5. Place Water Tray: Carefully place the water tray with the pump onto the water tank. Ensure the USB cable is routed through the designated groove to allow the tray to sit flush.
6. Attach Spout: Insert the flower spout onto the pump's water outlet. You can choose to use the flower spout for multiple streams, or remove it for a gentle bubbling surface.
7. Connect Power: Plug the USB cable into a compatible 5V USB power adapter (not included) and then into a power outlet. The LED indicator will illuminate, and water will begin to flow.

• Continuous Operation: The fountain operates continuously when plugged in. There is no on/off switch on the unit itself.
• Water Level Monitoring: The integrated LED light and visible water level window allow for easy monitoring of the water volume. Refill the tank when the water level approaches the minimum line.
• Dual Water Flow Modes: The fountain offers two water flow modes. Use the flower spout for multiple streams, or remove it for a gentle bubbling surface. Experiment to see which your pet prefers.
• Emergency Water Storage: The design includes a 130ml emergency water storage area, ensuring your pet has access to water even if the power is interrupted or the main tank runs dry.

6. Maintenance

Regular cleaning and filter replacement are crucial for maintaining water quality and extending the life of your fountain.

6.1. Filter Replacement

• Carbon Filter: Replace the carbon filter every 2 to 4 weeks, or more frequently if you have multiple pets or notice reduced water flow/quality.
• Filter Sponge: Replace the filter sponge as needed, typically when it appears dirty or clogged.
• Always pre-soak new carbon filters for 5 minutes and rinse thoroughly before installation.

6.2. Fountain Cleaning

• Clean the entire fountain, including the stainless steel tank, water tray, and flower spout, at least once a week.
• Use mild soap and water. Rinse all components thoroughly to remove any soap residue.

6.3. Pump Cleaning

Clean the pump at least once a week to prevent mineral buildup and ensure optimal performance.

1. Unplug the fountain and remove the pump from the water tray.
2. Disassemble the pump: remove the pump cover, then the impeller cover, and finally the impeller itself.
3. Use the provided cleaning brush to scrub all pump components, including the impeller, impeller housing, and the inside of the pump.
4. Rinse all parts thoroughly with clean water.
5. Reassemble the pump, ensuring the impeller is correctly seated.
