Maintenance
Cleaning the Screen
- Gently wipe the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth.
- For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen cleaner specifically designed for electronics.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive materials, or excessive moisture, as these can damage the screen and internal components.
General Care
- Keep the frame away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and areas with high humidity.
- Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the frame to prevent overheating.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the frame yourself, as this will void the product warranty.
Troubleshooting
Frame Not Connecting to Wi-Fi
- Confirm that your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The frame does not support 5GHz networks.
- Double-check that the Wi-Fi password has been entered correctly.
- Restart your Wi-Fi router and then restart the digital picture frame.
- Move the frame closer to your Wi-Fi router to improve signal strength.
SD Card/USB Drive Not Recognized
- Ensure the SD card or USB drive is formatted to "FAT32". Other file systems may not be compatible.
- Try using a different SD card or USB drive. For optimal compatibility, a 32GB capacity is recommended, as some 64GB and 128GB options may not function correctly.
- Verify that the card or drive is inserted fully and correctly into its slot.
Photos/Videos Not Sending via Frameo App
- Confirm that both your smartphone and the digital frame are connected to the internet.
- Check if the Frameo app on your phone is updated to the latest version.
- Ensure the pairing code between your phone and the frame is still active and correct.
- Remember that videos sent via the Frameo app have a 15-second time limit. For longer videos, use an SD card or USB drive.
Screen is Unresponsive or Frozen
- Attempt to restart the frame by unplugging it from the power source, waiting for a few seconds, and then plugging it back in.
- If the issue persists after restarting, please contact customer support for further assistance.
