4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Mechanical Installation

1. Power Disconnection: Before beginning any work, ensure that the main power supply to the circuit is completely disconnected at the service panel. Verify with a voltage tester.
2. Mounting: The circuit breaker is designed for DIN rail mounting. Snap the device onto the standard 35mm DIN rail within your electrical panel or enclosure.
3. Space Clearance: Ensure adequate space around the device for ventilation and access to terminals.

4.2 Electrical Wiring (3-Pole Configuration)

Refer to the wiring diagram on the device and below for correct connections. The 3-pole version is suitable for three-phase systems or specific single-phase applications requiring three conductors.

• Input Terminals (IN): Connect the incoming live (L1, L2, L3) and neutral (N) wires from your power source to the corresponding "IN" terminals at the top of the circuit breaker.
• Output Terminals (OUT): Connect the outgoing live (L1, L2, L3) and neutral (N) wires to the load (e.g., appliances, sub-panel) from the corresponding "OUT" terminals at the bottom.
• Tighten Connections: Use appropriate tools to securely tighten all screw terminals. Loose connections can cause overheating and fire hazards.

4.3 Wi-Fi Pairing with TUYA Smart Life App

1. Download App: Download the "TUYA Smart" or "Smart Life" app from your smartphone's app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store).
2. Register/Login: Open the app and register for a new account or log in with an existing one.
3. Power On: Restore power to the circuit breaker. The Wi-Fi indicator light (often blue or green) on the device should start blinking rapidly, indicating pairing mode. If it's not blinking, press and hold the pairing button (if available, refer to device diagram) for 5-10 seconds until it blinks rapidly.
4. Add Device: In the app, tap the "+" icon in the top right corner to add a device. Select "Electrical Engineering" > "Circuit Breaker (Wi-Fi)" or "Switch (Wi-Fi)".
5. Connect to Wi-Fi: Confirm the indicator is blinking rapidly. Enter your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network name and password. Note: 5GHz Wi-Fi networks are not supported.
6. Pairing: The app will begin searching for the device. Once found, it will connect and add the circuit breaker to your account. You can then rename the device for easy identification.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Manual Operation

• ON/OFF Switch: The physical toggle switch on the front of the circuit breaker allows for manual control. Push the switch up to turn the circuit ON, and push it down to turn it OFF.
• Trip Indication: If an overload or short circuit occurs, the breaker will automatically trip to the OFF position. Investigate the cause before resetting.

5.2 Remote Control via TUYA Smart Life App

• Device Control: Open the TUYA Smart Life app, select your circuit breaker from the device list. You will see an ON/OFF toggle button to remotely control the power.
• Metering Data: The app displays real-time current, voltage, power consumption, and historical energy usage data.
• Timer/Schedule: Set up schedules for automatic ON/OFF operations. This is useful for automating lighting, water heaters, or other appliances.
