Setup and Installation

1. Attaching the Mounting Bracket

The handlebar bag requires a compatible ORTLIEB mounting bracket (sold separately) to be installed on your bicycle's handlebars. Follow the instructions provided with your specific bracket for proper installation. Ensure the bracket is securely fastened and stable before attaching the bag.

2. Attaching the Handlebar Bag

  1. Align the bag's rear attachment point with the installed handlebar bracket.
  2. Push the bag firmly onto the bracket until it clicks securely into place.
  3. Verify that the bag is firmly attached by gently pulling on it. It should not wobble or detach easily.

3. Using the Integrated Lock (Optional)

For added security, the bag features an integrated key lock. Insert the key into the lock mechanism located on the side of the bag and turn to secure it to the handlebar bracket. Remember to remove the key and keep it with you.

Operating Instructions

1. Opening and Closing the Bag

To open the bag, release the top flap by disengaging the magnetic closure system. The flap will lift to reveal the main compartment. To close, simply lower the flap and ensure the magnetic closure engages firmly.

2. Utilizing the Transparent Flap

The transparent flap allows you to place a smartphone or GPS device inside for easy viewing and operation while riding. Ensure your device is securely placed within the transparent pocket to prevent movement during transit.

3. Detaching and Carrying the Bag

To detach the bag from the handlebar bracket, unlock it if the lock is engaged. Then, press the release mechanism on the bracket (if applicable) and slide the bag upwards or forwards to remove it. The bag can be carried using its integrated handle or by attaching optional carrying straps to the designated loops.
