5. Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for efficient operation. Ensure the unit is placed on a flat, stable surface and has at least 20 inches of clearance from walls or furniture.

5.1 Exhaust Hose Assembly

  1. Attach the hose adapter to one end of the exhaust hose by twisting it clockwise until secure.
  2. Attach the window kit adapter to the other end of the exhaust hose.
  3. Connect the hose adapter to the exhaust outlet on the back of the portable AC unit.

5.2 Window Kit Installation

  1. Open the window and place the adjustable window kit panel into the window opening. Adjust the panel length to fit snugly.
  2. Secure the window kit in place.
  3. Insert the window kit adapter (attached to the exhaust hose) into the opening of the window kit panel.
  4. Ensure all connections are sealed to prevent air leakage.

6. Operation

The unit can be operated using the control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control.

6.1 Control Panel

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your air conditioner.

7.1 Cleaning the Air Filter

The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.

  1. Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
  2. Locate the air filter panel on the side or back of the unit.
  3. Gently pull to remove the filter screen.
  4. Wash the filter screen under running water to remove dust and debris. For heavy dirt, use a mild detergent.
  5. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit.
  6. Ensure the filter is securely in place before operating the unit.

7.2 Draining Water

The unit has a self-evaporative system, but in high humidity conditions, the water tank may fill up. When the "FULL" indicator lights up, the unit will stop operating. Connect the drain pipe to the drain outlet and place the other end into a suitable container or floor drain to empty the water.
