Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to correctly connect the controller to your electric bike system. Ensure the power is OFF before making any connections.

  1. Connect Phase Lines: Connect the motor's phase lines to the controller, matching colors.
  2. Connect Hall Sensor Line: Connect the motor's Hall sensor line to the controller, matching colors.
  3. Connect Battery Line: Connect the battery line to the controller. The red wire is for battery positive (+), and the black wire is for battery negative (-).
  4. Connect LCD Line and Ignition: Connect the controller's LCD line. If your throttle does not have an ignition switch, the two ignition wires on the controller need to be shorted together.
  5. Intelligent Recognition (Self-Learning):
    • Turn off the power.
    • Connect the two intelligent recognition lines together.
    • Turn on the power. The wheel will either move forward or reverse.
    • If the wheel moves forward, separate the intelligent recognition lines.
    • If the wheel moves in reverse, separate the intelligent recognition lines, then connect them together again. The wheel should now move forward. Once it moves forward, separate the intelligent recognition lines.
    • This function allows the controller to intelligently identify the battery voltage and adjust the motor's rotation direction.

Note: When using the throttle, the intelligent recognition lines must be separated.

  6. Other Connections: Connect other functions as needed (e.g., brakes, headlights, PAS).
