Installation Guide
Before beginning installation, ensure the vehicle is turned off and the ignition key is removed. Locate your vehicle's fuse box, typically found under the dashboard, in the glove compartment, or under the hood.

- Identify Fuse Box: Locate and open the fuse box inside your vehicle.
- Connect ACC Wire (Red): Connect the red ACC wire to a fuse that provides power only when the ignition is on (e.g., radio, cigarette lighter).
- Connect B+ Wire (Yellow): Connect the yellow B+ wire to a fuse that provides constant power even when the ignition is off (e.g., hazard lights, interior lights).
- Connect GND Wire (Black): Securely attach the black GND wire to a metal part of the vehicle chassis, ensuring a good ground connection.
- Route Cables: Carefully route the Mini-USB connector cable from the SmartBox IV to your dash camera, ensuring it does not interfere with driving controls or airbags.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting
- Dash Cam Not Powering On: Check all fuse connections (ACC, B+, GND) for proper contact. Ensure the Mini-USB cable is securely connected to both the SmartBox IV and the dash camera. Verify vehicle battery voltage is above the set cut-off level.
- Parking Mode Not Activating: Confirm that the timer settings on the SmartBox IV are configured correctly (not set to 'Timer Off' if parking mode is desired). Ensure the dash camera itself supports parking surveillance and its settings are enabled.
- Vehicle Battery Drains: If the vehicle battery drains prematurely, adjust the voltage cut-off settings to a higher value. Ensure the B+ wire is connected to a constant power source and the ACC wire to an ignition-switched source.
