Setup

1. Battery Installation

The Casio FX-CG100 requires four AAA batteries for operation. Ensure the calculator is turned off before installing or replacing batteries.

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the calculator.
  2. Slide the cover off in the direction indicated by the arrow.
  3. Insert four new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as marked inside the compartment.
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover until it clicks securely into place.

2. Initial Power On

After installing the batteries, press the [ON] button to turn on the calculator. The initial setup screen may appear, prompting you to select language and contrast settings. Follow the on-screen instructions.
