4. Setup

4.1 Installing the Battery and Micro SD Card

The camera requires a battery and a Micro SD card (32GB included) for operation. Ensure the battery is inserted correctly; it cannot be charged if reversed.

1. Open the battery compartment cover located at the bottom of the camera.
2. Insert the rechargeable battery into the compartment, ensuring the correct orientation as indicated inside the compartment.
3. Insert the Micro SD card into the designated slot until it clicks into place.
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2 Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the battery. Connect the camera to a power source using the provided Type-C USB cable. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

Press and hold the Power Button for a few seconds to turn the camera on or off.

5.2 Taking Photos

1. Ensure the camera is in photo mode (indicated on the display). If not, press the M Button to switch modes.
2. Frame your shot using the 2.8-inch HD display.
3. Gently press the Photo Button halfway down to activate autofocus. Green focus boxes will appear on the screen.
4. Once focus is achieved, press the Photo Button fully down to capture the image.

5.3 Recording Videos

1. Press the M Button to switch to video recording mode (indicated by a video icon on the display).
2. Press the Photo Button to start recording. A red recording indicator will appear.
3. Press the Photo Button again to stop recording.

5.4 Using Digital Zoom

Use the Digital Zoom In/Out buttons to adjust the magnification of your subject. The camera supports up to 16X digital zoom.

5.5 Built-in Flash

Press the Playback Button to review your captured photos and videos. Use the navigation buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right) to browse through your media. Press the Delete Button to remove unwanted files.

• Lens: Use a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth specifically designed for optical lenses. Gently wipe in a circular motion. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Screen: Wipe the display screen with a clean, soft cloth. For stubborn smudges, a screen cleaner spray designed for electronics can be used sparingly on the cloth, not directly on the screen.
• Body: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the camera body. For dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water and wipe, then dry immediately.
