Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all four silicone panels from the packaging.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the panels with mild detergent and water, then dry thoroughly.
  3. Panel Orientation: The panels have a front (flat surface) and a back (indented surface). Always ensure the flat surface faces inwards towards the cooking area.
  4. Placement: Place the panels on a clean, dry IH cooking heater surface.
  5. Magnetic Connection: The panels connect magnetically. Simply bring the edges of two panels together, and the magnets will align them.

Operating Instructions

The flexible design of the Magnetic Range Guard allows for various configurations to best suit your cooking needs and pot sizes.

Adjusting Configuration:

  • U-Shape: For frying or deep-frying, arrange three panels in a U-shape around the pot to effectively block splatters from three sides.
  • W-Shape: When cooking with two pots side-by-side, a W-shape configuration can provide protection for both.
  • L-Shape: For single-pot cooking near a wall or backsplash, an L-shape can guard against splatters towards the wall and one side.
  • Straight Line: Panels can also be connected in a straight line to create a longer barrier if needed.

The angles between panels can be freely adjusted to accommodate different pot sizes and cooking styles, allowing for smooth movement of ingredients.

  1. Detachable Panels: Each panel can be easily detached from the others for individual cleaning.
  2. Hand Washing: Wash panels with a soft sponge and mild dish soap. Rinse thoroughly with water.
  3. Dishwasher Safe: The panels are dishwasher safe. Place them upright in the dishwasher rack along with other dishes.
  4. Drying: After washing, wipe dry with a cloth or allow to air dry completely before storage.
  5. Storage: The thin design allows for compact storage. Store panels flat or upright in a drawer or cabinet.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Panels do not connect securely. Magnets are misaligned or obstructed. Ensure panel edges are clean and align them properly for magnetic connection.
Panels slide on the cooking surface. Surface is wet or oily. Clean and dry the IH cooking heater surface before placing the panels.
Panels are discolored or damaged. Exposure to excessive heat (e.g., gas stove) or abrasive cleaning. Ensure use only with IH cooking heaters. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers. Replace if severely damaged.
