3. Setup

3.2 Battery Installation and Charging

The scooter comes with a removable 12Ah lithium battery. Before first use, ensure the battery is fully charged. The battery can be charged while installed on the scooter or removed.

  1. Locate the charging port on the battery or scooter.
  2. Connect the charger to the charging port, then plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet.
  3. The charger indicator light will typically show red during charging and turn green when fully charged.
  4. Charging time may vary, but typically takes several hours for a full charge.

Important: Only use the charger provided by Metro Mobility. Do not attempt to charge the battery with any other charger.

4. Operation

4.1 Controls

The scooter's controls are located on the tiller. These typically include:

  • On/Off Switch: Powers the scooter on or off.
  • Speed Adjustment Dial: Controls the maximum speed of the scooter.
  • Throttle Lever: Pushing forward or pulling back controls forward and reverse motion.

4.3 Folding and Unfolding

The AIR TRAVELLER-12AH is designed for quick and easy folding.

To Fold:

  1. Ensure the scooter is powered off.
  2. Pull the red cord located under the seat. This releases the seat mechanism.
  3. Lower the tiller to its lowest position and tighten the riser folders to secure it.
  4. Gently fold the scooter until it is compact.

To Unfold:

  1. Reverse the folding steps. Lift the tiller and secure it.
  2. Unfold the main body until the seat mechanism locks into place. Ensure all locking mechanisms are secure before use.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning
