2. Safety Instructions
Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:
- Read all instructions before use.
- Do not immerse the motor base in water or other liquids.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.
- Avoid contact with moving parts.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
- The appliance will not operate unless the lid is properly closed and locked into place. This is a safety feature.
- This appliance is for household use only.

- Do not fill the grinding cup beyond the maximum fill line (100g capacity).

4. Setup
- Unpack the grinder and all its components.
- Before first use, clean the grinding cups and lids with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water.
- Ensure the grinder is placed on a stable, flat, and dry surface.
- Select the appropriate grinding cup (2-blade or 4-blade) for your desired grinding task.
- Place the selected grinding cup onto the motor base, ensuring it is securely seated.
5. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to operate your Sinbo SCM 2982 grinder:
- Prepare Ingredients: Ensure coffee beans or spices are dry and free from foreign objects.
- Add Ingredients: Place the desired amount of ingredients into the grinding cup. Do not exceed the MAX fill line (maximum 100 grams).
- Secure Lid: Place the transparent lid onto the grinding cup and twist or press down firmly until it locks into place. The grinder will not operate if the lid is not properly secured due to its safety mechanism.
- Plug In: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Start Grinding: Press down on the lid to activate the grinding process. The grinder operates only when pressure is applied to the lid.
- Monitor Grinding: Observe the grinding process through the transparent lid. Grind in short bursts (pulsing) for better control over the consistency.
- Stop Grinding: Release pressure from the lid to stop the grinder.
- Unplug and Remove: Unplug the grinder from the outlet. Carefully remove the lid, then lift out the grinding cup to access your freshly ground ingredients.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your grinder.
- Unplug: Always unplug the grinder from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Clean Grinding Cups: Remove the grinding cup from the motor base. Use a small brush or a dry cloth to remove any remaining coffee grounds or spice residue. The stainless steel cups can be wiped clean with a damp cloth, but do not immerse them in water. Ensure they are completely dry before reassembling.
- Clean Lid: Wipe the transparent lid with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Clean Motor Base: Wipe the exterior of the motor base with a soft, damp cloth. Never immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
- Storage: Store the grinder in a dry place when not in use.
