3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Pump Requirements
For optimal performance, this automatic pool cleaner requires a pool pump with a minimum power of 3/4 HP or a flow rate of 6.5 m³/h (1700 gal/h). The water flow should not exceed 12 m³/h.
3.2 Hose Length Selection
Proper hose length is crucial for effective cleaning and to prevent kinking. Connect enough hose sections so that the cleaner can reach all areas of your pool, including the farthest point from the skimmer, plus an additional 1-2 hose sections.

Figure 3.1: Guide for selecting appropriate hose length based on pool shape.
3.3 Assembly and Connection
The cleaner features tool-free assembly. Follow these steps to connect the cleaner to your pool's filtration system:
- Assemble the cleaner head and hose sections according to the included diagrams.
- If your regulator connects to a wall skimmer, pass the hose through the front of your skimmer and connect it to the elbow connector.
- Adjust your filtration system to the vacuum setting.
- Ensure the pump meets the minimum power requirements.

3.4 Adjusting Suction Power
The cleaner's suction power can be adjusted using the regulator valve. This helps optimize cleaning efficiency and movement.
- Turn the knob towards '+' to increase suction power.
- Turn the knob towards '-' to decrease suction power.
- Adjust as needed to ensure the cleaner moves freely and effectively picks up debris without getting stuck.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your pool cleaner.
5.1 Clearing Blockages
The clear design of the cleaner allows for easy monitoring of blockages. If small debris like twigs get lodged, simply remove them. No tools are needed for this process.

5.2 Diaphragm Inspection and Replacement
The TPU diaphragm is a critical component for the cleaner's suction. Inspect it periodically, especially if you notice a loss of suction power.
- Step 1: If you notice a gap in the diaphragm, it indicates poor suction. Press it inward.
- Step 2: Lift up the other end of the blue tube that connects to the diaphragm to ensure a tighter seal of the diaphragm.
- Step 3: While pushing down on the blue tube, secure the nut by tightening it.
- Step 4: The diaphragm is in normal condition when it appears closed as shown in the picture.

6. Troubleshooting
Refer to this section for common issues and their solutions.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Cleaner not moving or stuck | Insufficient suction power; Debris lodged in cleaner; Improper hose length/weights. | Check pump power (min 3/4HP); Adjust regulator valve to increase suction; Remove any lodged debris; Verify correct hose length and weight distribution. |
| Loss of suction power | Damaged or improperly seated diaphragm; Insufficient pump power; Air leak in hose connections. | Inspect and adjust/replace diaphragm (refer to Section 5.2); Ensure pump meets requirements; Check all hose connections for airtight seals. |
| Cleaner not cleaning effectively | Low suction; Incorrect hose length; Large debris present. | Increase suction power; Adjust hose length for full pool coverage; Manually remove large debris before operation. |
