5. Maintenance and Care

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your keyboard.

  • Cleaning: To clean the keyboard, first disconnect it from your computer. Use a soft, damp cloth with a mild cleaning solution (e.g., water with a small amount of dish soap) to wipe down the keys and surfaces. Avoid excessive moisture. For dust and debris between keys, use compressed air.
  • Using the Protective Cover: The included protective cover is designed to shield the keyboard from dust, spills, and pet hair. Place the cover over the keyboard when not in use, especially in environments prone to contaminants.
  • Spill Protection: While the keyboard is designed with some spill resistance due to the cover, it is not fully waterproof. Avoid direct exposure to large amounts of liquid. If a spill occurs, immediately disconnect the keyboard, wipe it dry, and allow it to air dry completely before reconnecting.
  • Storage: Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
