7. Setup and Configuration

The SWX-803-WH dimmer switch is designed to interface with a low voltage sensor system, typically connected to a SENSORWORX SWX-900-AX model power pack. Once wired correctly, the switch will communicate with the power pack to control the connected 0-10V dimmable lighting fixtures. No complex configuration is typically required on the switch itself beyond proper wiring.

8. Operating Instructions

The SWX-803-WH provides intuitive control over your 0-10V dimmable lighting.

  • On/Off Control: Press the centrally located toggle button to turn the lights ON or OFF.
  • Dimming Up: Press the button on the right side (marked with an upward arrow) to increase the light level.
  • Dimming Down: Press the button on the left side (marked with a downward arrow) to decrease the light level.
  • Light Level Indicator: The five stacked LEDs on the switch provide a visual indication of the current relative dimming level. More LEDs illuminated indicate a higher light output.
  • Partial On Mode: When connected to a compatible sensor system, the dimming feature enables a 'Partial On' operating mode, allowing lights to turn on to a preset dimmed level.

9. Maintenance

The SENSORWORX SWX-803-WH dimmer switch requires minimal maintenance.

  • Cleaning: To clean the device, wipe it gently with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or sprays directly on the switch.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect the switch for any signs of damage or loose connections. If any issues are found, disconnect power and consult a qualified electrician.

10. Troubleshooting

  • Lights do not turn ON/OFF:
    • Check if power is supplied to the power pack and the dimmer switch.
    • Verify all wiring connections are secure and correct according to the diagram.
    • Ensure the connected lighting fixtures are operational.
  • Lights do not dim:
    • Confirm that the connected lighting fixtures are 0-10V dimmable and their dimming wires are correctly connected to the switch and power pack.
    • Check the 0-10V dimming wire connections for continuity and proper polarity.
  • LED indicators are not working:
    • Ensure the switch is receiving proper low voltage power (5-24 VDC).

If issues persist after performing these checks, contact Technical Support.
