Setup
1. Unpacking and Package Contents
Carefully remove the safe from its packaging. Inspect for any damage. Ensure all components are present as listed below:

2. Battery Installation (Initial Setup)
The electronic lock requires batteries (not included). Open the safe using the spare key for the first time. Locate the battery compartment on the inside of the door. Insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment cover.
3. Setting Your Personal Password
- With the safe door open, press the red reset button located on the inside of the door near the hinge.
- The yellow light on the keypad will illuminate, indicating it's ready for input.
- Enter your desired 3-8 digit password on the keypad.
- Press the "#" button to confirm your new password. The yellow light will turn off.
- Test your new password with the door open to ensure it works correctly before closing the safe.
4. Mounting the Safe (Optional)
To enhance security and prevent unauthorized removal, the safe can be mounted to a wall or floor. Four mounting holes are located on the back, and two on the bottom.

- Mark the drilling points through the pre-drilled holes on the safe.
- Drill holes in the wall or floor using an appropriate drill bit.

Operating Instructions
1. Unlocking the Safe
Your Locksworth safe offers three methods for unlocking:

- Using Password: Enter your 3-8 digit password, then press "#". The green light will illuminate. Turn the knob clockwise within 5 seconds to open the door.
- Using Spare Key: Insert the spare key into the keyhole, turn it clockwise, and simultaneously turn the knob clockwise to open the door.
- Emergency Unlocking (Dead Batteries): If batteries are dead, connect the external battery box (included) or a Type-C power bank to the port on the keypad. Then, enter your password and turn the knob as described in method 1.
2. Alarm System
The safe is equipped with an alarm system to deter unauthorized access:

- If an incorrect password is entered 3 times in a row, the keypad will be locked for 20 seconds, and the alarm will sound every second.
- If an incorrect password is entered 6 times in a row, the keypad will be locked for 5 minutes, and the alarm will sound every second.
- To stop the alarm, enter the correct password or use the spare key.
3. Internal LED Light
Upon successful password unlocking, the internal LED light will automatically turn on for 30 seconds to help you view contents in low-light conditions.

4. Adjustable Shelf
The safe includes a removable and height-adjustable shelf, allowing you to customize the interior space to fit items of various sizes.

To adjust or remove the shelf, simply lift it from its supports and reposition it to the desired height or remove it completely for larger items.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the safe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries promptly when the low battery indicator appears (usually a red light on the keypad). Always use new, high-quality AA alkaline batteries.
- Key Care: Store spare keys in a secure location away from the safe. Do not store them inside the safe.
- Door Mechanism: Periodically check the door hinges and locking bolts for smooth operation. Do not lubricate the electronic lock mechanism.
