4.1. Removal of Existing Unit
To remove the factory radio, follow these steps:
- Carefully remove the top dashboard pad. This usually involves prying it up gently.
- Locate and remove the two screws underneath the top pad.
- Gently pull the entire radio bezel assembly outwards. It is held by clips and will require a firm but steady pull.
- Once the bezel is loose, disconnect any wiring harnesses attached to it (e.g., hazard lights, climate controls).
- Unscrew the four large bolts securing the factory radio unit to the dashboard frame.
- Carefully pull out the factory radio and disconnect all remaining wiring harnesses from its rear.

4.2. Wiring Connections
The Vratzn unit is designed for plug-and-play installation. Match the provided harnesses to the corresponding connectors in your vehicle. The main harness connects most functions. The Can Bus module helps eliminate error codes and ensures proper communication with the vehicle's systems. Two USB cables (6-pin and 4-pin) are provided; use either as needed.
