Safety Information
- Electrical Safety: Always ensure the power supply is OFF at the circuit breaker before beginning any installation or maintenance. If you are unsure about wiring, consult a qualified electrician.
- Mounting Requirements: Do not install the ceiling fan on a sloped ceiling exceeding a 15-degree gradient. Use a fan-rated Junction box (supporting minimum 100 lbs / 45 kg), not a light-rated box.
- Blade Installation: For the screwless snap-on blades, you must hear a distinct "click" when inserting each blade. Then, firmly pull each blade to ensure it is securely and safely locked before beginning wiring. Failure to do so may result in blades detaching during operation.
- General Safety: Keep hands clear of fan blades during operation. Do not attempt to stop the fan by hand.

Setup and Installation
1. Install Mounting Bracket
Secure the hanger bracket to a fan-rated ceiling box (minimum 100 lbs / 45 kg). Ensure the maximum ceiling angle does not exceed 15 degrees. Use appropriate screws and anchors for your ceiling type.
2. Assemble Motor & Downrod
Choose the short or long downrod as needed for your ceiling height. Pass the motor wires through the downrod. Secure the downrod to the motor and tighten the screws and locking pin to ensure stability.
3. Install the Fan Blades
The ropelux fan features a patented snap-on design for convenient, screw-free blade installation. Push each blade into the slot until you hear a distinct "click." After hearing the click, firmly pull each blade to confirm it is securely locked. This safety check must be performed for every blade before proceeding with wiring.

Video 2: Demonstrates the proper installation of snap-on fan blades, emphasizing the audible "click" for secure attachment and how to remove them.
4. Hang the Fan Body and Connect the Power Controller
Hang the assembled fan onto the mounting bracket, ensuring the downrod ball is seated securely in the bracket's groove. Insert the controller (receiver) into the bracket and connect it to the motor wires.
5. Wire the Fan to the Ceiling Power Wires
Connect the fan's wires to the ceiling power wires using wire nuts. Match colors: Black (Live) to Black (Live), White (Neutral) to White (Neutral), and Green (Ground) to Green (Ground). Ensure the power is OFF at the circuit breaker before wiring.
6. Neatly Arrange Wires and Fasten the Cover
Carefully tuck all wires into the junction box. Before final tightening, slightly loosen the screws on the mounting bracket to align the holes for the decorative cover more easily. Fasten the decorative cover securely to the mounting bracket.

Operating Instructions
Remote & App Dual Control
Your ropelux ceiling fan can be controlled using the included handheld remote or via the "Fanlamp Pro" app on your smartphone. Both methods allow you to adjust fan speed, light dimming, color temperature, seasonal motor reversal, and timer settings.

Seasonal Modes
The fan offers two directional modes: downward for summer cooling and upward for winter warm air circulation, ensuring comfort throughout the year.

Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your ropelux ceiling fan, regular maintenance is recommended:
- Cleaning: Dust the fan blades and motor housing periodically with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Tightness Check: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they are secure. Loose connections can cause noise or wobbling.
- Blade Balance: If the fan wobbles, check that all blades are securely attached and balanced.
Troubleshooting
If you experience issues with your fan, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Fan does not turn on: Check the circuit breaker and wall switch. Ensure all wiring connections are secure. Verify the remote control batteries are functional.
- Light does not work: Check the light switch on the remote or app. Ensure wiring connections to the light kit are secure.
- Fan wobbles: Ensure the mounting bracket is securely fastened to a fan-rated junction box. Check that all fan blades are properly installed and clicked into place.
- Remote/App not responding: Replace remote batteries. Ensure the fan's power is on. Re-pair the remote/app if necessary (refer to the full user manual for pairing instructions).
